Google doesn't do the certification for AA, it's by a 3rd party
It's possible they found something that needed fixing in certification, it's also possible they decided to package it into a larger planned update...hard to say without being inside.

Switching between Hope and Impatience is the practical Life. Happy Thursday, waiting for AA but need it yesterday 😀

Turn on Wifi on your Carlink device and connect it to your phone's mobile Hotspot via Wifi. That way your Carlink device will have internet connection to download the firmware. After connection, you open the FOTA UPDATE App on your Carlink Device and it will check for any available firmware and download and install it.

Ah yes. I verified, I'm up to date. And issue is not fixed yet.

I reached out to customer care and they said they received numerous complaints from other owners.
 
I'm afraid the Carlinkit 4 is not going to work out, which means I have to return it, which means my superpower of triggering AA to be released will likely no longer be in effect. Sorry guys!

It connects and works ok except for 2 issues.

1. The microphone doesn't seem to work. It triggers and acts like the AA mic is listening, but it doesn't actually hear anything.

2. The top of the screen is cut off by the top banner of the Lucid interface. For the main AA app window I can work around that by reorganizing the apps to put some I don't use at the top. But it basically renders Waze and Google Maps unusable for me, and that's one of the main things I want AA for (along with YouTube Music). I tried every resolution/display option I could find with no success.

You may have gotten the wrong carlinkit. This happen to me with the wrong version. This is the one that works (looks like it's or of stock?) u

Thanks. I did see that. I was already pushing it spending $80 on something that in theory should be superfluous "soon", so $200 isn't gonna fly. I'll just have to live with the Lucid Nav with Waze running on my phone when I need it, and playing YT Music via Bluetooth, at least an OTA delivers some AA goodness.
 
Wow! Assuming it is released soon, and I mean 'soon' per Webster's definition... Wouldn't it be totally cool if the AA dash cam addition was the reason for the delay from Lucid's Fall, '24 target? That would surely appease whiners like yours truly! The icing on the cake would be if the dash cam was only on Lucid's aOS interface for a while, so iOS users could better exercise their empathetic skills. But let's only make them wait a day or two!

I disagree.

How long has Android users been waiting for the AA implantation in our Lucid? I think iOS users will need to wait TWICE as long for their dash cam/sentry mode capabilities, UNLESS...they want to switch to an Android phone? 😂🤣
