Android Auto Thursday

Just so y'all know, I just gave up and ordered a Carlinkit 4.0 adapter. This will almost guarantee that AA support will be released, if not immediately, then the day after the end of my return window...
Shoot what took you so long?!

Well, I've only had the car for a month. 😁
Had the community known you had this power we would have chipped in to buy you the car 3 yrs ago

Lol. I've been thinking the same thing!

It's weird. I have both an android and ios phone. When they brought carplay out, I tested it and them promptly went back to the Lucid native system. I hope it's different with AA but I guess I'm in the minority because I'm pretty satisfied as is or I dislike change.
Mind you, I'd like to have a few more native apps, like Amazon music and WAZE, but I can always do a work around. And for those that really want AA, an adaptor is not unreasonable while waiting for the update. I'm more irritated by V2H for which there is no work around🤷‍♂️

Fall of 2024 they said...is it Fall of 2024 yet?

Had anyone stopped by the meatpacking district to see the gravity? I'm checking it out tomorrow but curious if AA is functional
I really wanted to go on Saturday, but I had other plans. I'm hoping someone will be able to confirm the same.

I'm pretty sure Lucid hasn't, but has there been any update official from Lucid other than Google delays from like almost 3 months ago?

Would you please see how many sides of beef you could fit in the back?

I went last night. The software wasn't available on the cars (I didn't spend too long on that but 99% sure the displays were black). I did ask about AA just to a few of the lucid people at the show (no one high level) and it seems that it should be pretty soon on AA. They didn't say exactly but got a big smile and said soon. Yes I know we've been hearing that but the smile was pretty genuine. In my mind, I translated that smile to anytime 0-7 days but I'm just guessing. Oh also, I head from a different person that there would be an update coming that has some additional drive assist / DD capability (and no, not FSD). Not sure if they would wait to push those together, as that doesn't seem 0-7 days but more like 1-2 months?? All just guesses. Fingers crossed regardless.
