These handful of deliveries before the end of the year are really only important for the customers of those vehicles. Not in the bigger picture.

Having gotten notice of my delivery date only yesterday, I was finally able to schedule the installation of the remote radar/laser detector and the ceramic coating of the car. But, as I feared, not having any idea of a delivery date earlier, we are now entering "season" in south Florida where schedules for everything get filled up. The earliest date I could get for radar/laser detector installation is February 22, and the Opti-Coat installer is going to get back to me, but he's saying at least a seven week wait.
If Lucid had told me earlier that my car would be delayed until near the end of production because of the color choice and given me a rough ballpark date, I could have gotten onto their schedules almost three months ago for work now.

Radenso. We've used Escort Passports in our last several cars, but a chip shortage made them unavailable when we got the Model S Plaid in August. We put a Radenso system in that and have liked it better than the Passports.

I called my Sales Advisor to ask about the delivery status of my car. He told me that I would definitely get it this year. He mentioned that once the car leaves the assembly line, it will be processed quickly, since it will be going to Phoenix for PDI before my Tucson home delivery. He said to expect a call this week and wanted to make sure I would be available for delivery.
So this from this conversion it sounded like the car was not out of the assembly line yet, although the VIN was assigned back on 24-Nov.

Looks to me like they are randomizing the VINs because production numbers can do stupid things to the stock price. Not trying to bring stock talk to this thread. They are being smart. Production numbers will come out at the quarterly reports. I see so many Teslas everyday. Looking forward to seeing more Lucid‘s on the road.

I think the only numbers that matter at this point are the Dream Edition numbers. So far in the forums, on FaceBook, and Twitter I haven't yet seen any number even close to 200, let alone 520. I'm still hoping for a New Year's Eve miracle, but time is definitely running short. I know the Bear's Workshop flyovers have shown a large number of cars on the lot, but I think we are running quite a bit behind the original delivery projections. I hope I'm wrong.
DE# we seen was 114 but I think we have seen way more cars produced and verified by Bear fly over so I have no doubt that 500+ was produced but delivery is that certain for sure. Not sure if anybody has NDA not to post anything via social media but I think it's more than 200+ for delivery.

DE is 520, the 577 assumed 57 GT.
I know of at least 2 people, including myself, that have now officially been told "not gonna happen" for this year. My car is "waiting on a part" and will be at least the second week of Jan at this point it sounds like.
Looking forward to 2022.
