Gravity Delivery Discussion

I can only imagine how many emails, calls and messages Sales Advisors are getting from many people wondering what’s going on and when can they expect their vehicles.

While not ideal, I don’t blame them for been a little short or abrupt at this stage. From what I can gather, they have very limited info / visibility into the production pipeline so I don’t think they’re hiding info etc. they simply don’t know.
My SA (for my Air GT) has mentioned a few times that they really can't get much info about the production process. On the bright side, he said it looked like things were ahead of sched, so you never know.

Seeing exactly the same thing. I’m hoping this means they are updating software now? Ordered GT aurora green/tahoe, has a VIN. Was told by my SA early to mid July deliveries are expected from this batch. One can only hope. Miami showroom…. West palm beach just received a demo model late last week. Same aurora green/tahoe with HUD…. Non functional of course!

Well the status changed to “preparing for delivery”. So another small update along with car is at the Millbrae service center but no delivery date yet
Woo hoo!! 🙌🏼 Genuinely excited for you! Can’t wait to hear all about the delivery experience. Mine is ultimately destined for Millbrae delivery at some point in the near future.

When I went to visit Millbrae to look at the 5-seat Gravity they now have on display, the SA was clear that it also is a pre-production vehicle. The indents on the floor where the 3rd row seats would attach were an artifact of that.
That makes sense.

So, regarding this June 18 software update on which all pending deliveries were supposedly waiting . . . has anyone seen it show up on their software dashboards?

My most recent update remains 3.1.7 on June 12.

Interesting. Now I'm wondering if the "software update" deliveries were waiting on isn't a vehicle software update, but rather an infrastructure update to actually separate Gravity out from the Air back-end fleet infrastructure.

I was told today that my GT (black/yosemite/21/22) will go into production in July and I should have it by September, possibly August.
Well that’s somewhat encouraging. Congrats. When did you order? Are you an Air owner? Wondering if that matters anymore.
