This
article is about the role that voltage (in the case of current Tesla superchargers) plays in charging time.
Kudos to Lucid for knowing that and adjusting accordingly.
I already posted in Gravity/Charging section, but the point of my post here is, as complaints about Lucid production challenges continue, minus the lack of communication, a key aspect of Lucid's journey that is perhaps forgotten by some is that Lucid did not evolve like luxury brand such as Lexus (from Toyota) and Genesis (from Hyundai).
I can remember in the late 80's when Hyundai was concerned cheap, low quality. Before that, the same with Toyota.
Those two brands, over time, improved their quality and their production processes and progressed to adding a luxury brand.
Porsche was luxury at a low scale of production; Volkswagon changed that.
Lucid came with luxury straight out the gate; not a small feat.
The article below shows me this company may have some issues (communication), but engineering or technology isn't one of them.
I've said this before, some just need to manage their expectations and be honest with themselves.
Early adoption isn't for everyone.
If you can't take it, go buy an EV9 or Ioniq9; not bad choices at all.
Not knocking those buyers. Consider your goals/needs/expectations and proceed accordingly.
For some, it's a basic of life; you can't always get what you want even after you've been told that.
You can't get the HUD retrofitted at a later time.
Lucid told us that.
Never been a car guy.
Never saw a reason to be an early car adopter, but dang it, this forum and ev may turn me into both!
Sometimes we don't like the truth, but ...
Perhaps ...
