We are nice enough to have an owner volunteer to do an AMA about their ownership experience with the Gravity so far.

Please post a question but also if your question has been asked, please vote it up so the most sought after questions are at the top of the list.

Anything off topic or not a question will be deleted. Keep this organized!

Where has it been stated that the current Air charger doesn't work on Gravity? If that correct, I missed reading it somewhere.

The Lucid press release says "CCS1 to NACS and SAE J1772 to NACS adapters are also included with the Lucid Gravity ...".

My review of the guide for the Lucid home charger shows that the charger connector is an SAE J1772. Obvious question, why can't the adapter be used with the current Lucid home charger?
Works perfectly fine. We just leave the adapter attached, and whenever I want to charge my Air it takes less than a second to pull off the adapter.

You are right, the Air charger works with the provided adaptor. I am not an Air owner and Air will change to NACS in the future, so it doesn't make sense for me to buy the current Lucid charger now.

It can, it would just be annoying to deal with. Though I suppose you could leave the adapter attached to the home charger.
That's what I've done with my old Tesla wall unit to charge my Polestar. It fits pretty snug so I doubt it would fall off, though it does prevent me from storing the plug in the convenient hole in the side of the unit which is sized for the bare end of the Tesla plug. On the other hand, every time I stowed the plug into that receptacle I worried it would fall out (even though it didn't in 7+ years of ownership). Now I just throw the plug+adapter over the top of the unit and let it hang there...

If you don't want to use the adapter with your future Air (w/NACS) or the soon-to-be-released Gravity, I get it, but the current Lucid charger will work (w/adapter) on that future Air unless Lucid changes something on that future Air that requires a updated version of the LHCS.

Doesn't matter. Definitly not questioning your decision.
It's your choice.
You just had me concerned with the original statement that the current LHCS won't work with the Gravity because I'm planning of buying one.

Perhaps OT but has there been (public) talk of upgrading existing Air vehicles (meaning inventory cars) to the NACS port? I'm curious if that's a thing or not (yet?).
