2.6.2 Software Update

Does it matter? The point I’m making is the gas pedal was to the floor and the vehicle would not accelerate above a certain speed whereas before it did.
It reminded me of the time I tried to pass an X6 in my wife’s Rivian and did so with extreme difficulty. My wife informed me that the R1S is governed at a much lower speed than I thought.
If it stopped at 88 mph, they pushed the loaner version of the software to your car by mistake (assuming it’s not a loaner)…

Were you in Sprint mode? I'm not sure if the speed is more limited in other modes, but you'll certainly have a harder time getting there without the full horsepower.
Yes. I always drive in Sprint mode. In the old days when you could control gear shifting, I would always shift at higher RPM's. I'm used to that feel.

Still waiting at 2.5.0 with a 2022 GT-P .

Ugh, I'm disappointed to hear this... I'm really getting frustrated with these buggy releases... My steering wheel stopped heating with 2.6.0 and it's been 5° here... I was counting on it being fixed with 2.6.2.
From 2.5.0 thread @reebis44 said below. It worked for me as well.

"For those having this issue, I found on a reddit thread that you can get the heated wheel to stay on by rapidly, repeatedly tapping the button for a few seconds. Stupid thing to have to do, but it works."

I think my car is haunted! Don't worry it is a friendly ghost.
Since 2.62 if I turn on my wife's seat heat the glove box opens. When she gets a text the radio turns on. Great ride, and now some laughs. Thanks Casper.
Upsetting, I wish I had 2.6.2, all of our cars are stuck on 2.6.0…

I haven’t gone and called Lucid yet because it seems like it’s a moderate update, but I might tomorrow to see if they can push the update.

Normally my car would receive it fairly early in the roll out. But lately it hasn’t been that way.

Please wait at least another week before calling.

Not everyone will get 2.6.2. I am also on 2.6.0.

I suspect this is also going to be one of those updates where we all eventually coalesce on a version, but until then some will have 2.6.0, some 2.6.2, some 2.6.1, etc.

I asked CS and they said the rollout had been paused due to QA issues.

That worked...thanks for posting!

My vehicle with software version 2.6.0 prompted me for an update. I applied the update and it's still at 2.6.0. Anyone see the same?
Me. Happened with me and also the rapid tapping on steering wheel heat also worked for me.

Still no 2.6.2 for me. Still on 2.6.0
And now, my car is very slow to wake again.
Should I turn off WiFi access at home? That seems to make the car wake up faster.
