Post the 2.2.2 software update, the car tonight, just started playing the radio for no reason.
It startled my entire family who were dozing off in the car. My wife thought I did on purpose! LOL
But when she saw me trying to find which source was playing, I think she knew it was a glitch.
FWIW, I never play the radio so it was very strange. Confusingly, I thought my Tidal was playing so when I hit the right steering wheel toggle, it started playing over the radio!

Whoa.

Same thing has been happening to me since the software update. The XM radio plays randomly. Usually, selecting other media made it stop, but today I couldn't stop it by turning on Spotify or Bluetooth. Only when I switched to FM did it stop. I've had spontaneous radio four times now in the past week.

This is ridiculous and needs to be fixed immediately.

Haha glad it’s not just me. Have had this happen twice so far since the update.

Also…has the random unsafe driving detected pop up - told me to go to a coffee shop…WHILE highway assist was active 🤣

The tidal integration has had an existing bug that is similar to this as well that has shown its head in previous versions. If you are on the phone but were listening to tidal before accepting the phone call, there is a chance that the car will start playing the music over your call. So 2 sources of audio at the same time. Curious if that same bug is at play here.

That’s not for unsafe driving. That is the camera thinking you are tired; other vehicles base it off of swerving and such, but Lucid bases it off of facial recognition.

It has popped up twice for my wife and once for me. All three times, it was totally right: we were exhausted.

this just happened to me! The car started playing cool jazz while I was driving. Couldn’t figure out the audio source. It wasn’t the AM/FM radio because the quality was too clear, all my stations are full of static (just in this car, but that’s another issue). I don’t subscribe to any other audio source, I listen to CarPlay exclusively, and it wasn’t that. Very strange.

That's not specific to Tidal. It's Sirius, too. Now when I start a phone call, I go into settings and turn the media volume all the way down to 0. So if it decides to start playing during my phone call, I don't hear it at all.

Ah it could be because I am squinting as I come around a corner and get hit with a bunch of direct sunlight every time on my drive home. Thanks
