Pirelli is likely living off the concept that the tire cost is not enough for anyone to hire a lawyer and sue. someone could try in Small Claims Court (assuming there is such a court in the state in question) but most states allow the defendant to remove the case to regular court and that is what most large corporations do.

That it was a defect, not a driver caused problem. Would require a lot of discovery as the evidence would have to be other claims that the defendant denied to show a pattern of defects.

I guess that's my point is how do you prove a defect? The only time I got a bubble was when I hit a curb, obviously driver error. Plenty of people who keep reporting issues I'm almost certain hit something on the road, how can you prove you didn't?
