Ordering and Delivery: Lucid Air Touring

Congrats! I'm thinking of staying with USAA as well. I assume you were able to quickly work the insurance and USAA had no problem finding your VIN in their system...
Adding the car to USAA and they had no issues with finding my VIN (I’d say possibly less than an hour after it was assigned).

I hope they have learned that ….but it doesn’t seem to apply to the overworked DAs. I last talked to mine a week ago when he told me my car ”might“ be delivered this week. On the dashboard my car has been listed as In production since the 9th. I have tried numerous times using every avenue (phonecon, test, email) to contact my DA to get a status so I can complete my delivery plans as well as my Holiday plans….crickets. Anybody have any suggestions on how to get a simple 30 second phone call just for an update?

I should say that my DA was helpful and responsive before this but this silence is definitely disappointing.
I hear you. My DA told me Friday I'd be hearing from the Denver Studio about setting a delivery date. And since then—crickets. I tried emailing my DA today, but he's out of the office until tomorrow. Probably doing deliveries at his Service Center in Scottsdale. (At least he set his auto-reply to let me know.) I have no idea if the car just hasn't arrived yet (should not take that long to get from Scottsdale to Denver) or if the folks at the studio are dropping the ball, or if there's something on my end I'm missing?

I'm sure he'll get back to me tomorrow, though. He's been super responsive generally. And I'm sure he wants me off his list of deliveries to complete.

Update - I called the Service Center Desk and they verified that the car is still in the “last stages of production” but no schedule for completion, shipping, or delivery. That is disappointing as I made two configuration changes at the suggestion of my DA to expedite delivery of my loaded white/Santa Cruz

USAA 1K less on a six month policy than my previous insurerance company. No problems with system finding & using my newly assigned VIN. I even played around with USAA's online quote system checking prices for different coverages.

Schedule time. There should be a calendar link in their email.

Are you in the Seattle area? Who is your DA? I'm also in Seattle and my DA hasn't been overly responsive.
I have Jess as my DA. And yes, I am in the Seattle area.

I also have Jess - and she hasn't been super responsive to emails. Has that been your experience?

And FYI, the Seattle studio (U Village) has a Cosmos/Santa Cruz Touring in case you want to see one in person before your delivery.

I usually just text her. She's not super responsive but that's okay with me.

Hopefully they come through for you!! I have been back and forth with my DA on this same issue. I was going to add back options (removed when they said no Mojave this year) and accept a different interior color only if they could guarantee the delivery this year. He said he couldn't guarantee it. So, I passed on adding those unimportant options back to my configuration and have accepted that my car will now probably be delivered around mid year- hopefully with some improvements to the build issues, software etc...

Pulling for you!

What day did you get your VIN?
Email to unresponsive DA/CEO/COO stating 2022 delivery or order canceled 12/7. VIN 12/9, car arrived 12/13, picking up 12/16. Like they say, the squeaky wheel gets the grease.

Oh wow. By car arrived, you mean that was the date you could have taken delivery? 4 days including the entire weekend is rather impressive. I suspect we won’t all get that timing by default.
