Pure Standard Equipment

Touring has power frunk standard

The lists of standard equipment for Pure and Touring @Halodde got in Sept seems to be 100% accurate
Did anyone actually confirm for Pure either based on official statement from Lucid folks (SA or DA) or whoever were present in the launch party?

One of the message I saw last night from user Pax that hardware of Pure and Touring are same (as per SA). So, I'd expect Pure to have power frunk if Touring has (which is now confirmed).

I wish I had seen all these messages about the frunk before the event last night. Sorry dudes!

No problem. Thanks for representing the community.

At this point, it would be harder (or, more work) for Lucid to actually have different hardware for Trims. For example, massage seat would be feature of the seat, not the car. Bluetooth controlled massage seat is not a car hardware per se where Lucid engineers are adding value. Excluding power frunk may need extra work if goal is to create differentiation between various Trim. It would need additional mechanical components even if not rocket science.

I believe Pax was referring to the drivetrain and batteries when comparing Pure AWD and Touring because of their differences in HP, range, and efficiency. Both Pure AWD and Touring have the same 18 module battery pack and include the same dual motors.

Possible. The only material update yesterday was the EPA rating, rest of the information for AWD version didn't change for what had known for months. RWD is still up in the air.

All I'm saying I think we just need a positive affirmation of the final specs given delivery starts in couples of week now (assuming they do deliver at least 1 in 2022).

People seem to have lots of good questions that might be best asked of someone in Sales rather than in a user forum. But there's also the "ask me {Derek] anything" opportunity on Twitter coming up. I'd be much more satisfied with getting information from an official Lucid source than from interpolated or extrapolated information. What's behind the EPA rating information, which configurations, what specific features, timelines, frunk hardware, will the size of the cup holder change? Ask Lucid. Check in with [email protected], or talk to a sales person directly.

After mentioning the many features of the Air, my wife said, “does it have a horn?”
I think there is an option for a front horn and another for a rear horn. I'm sure I read that somewhere ;-)

Well I am going to test drive the car again on the 22nd, going to compile a list and see what's what.

No it will be a Grand Touring I imagine, I am just going to try to nail them down on exactly what features are included in the Pure at this point. Maybe they will know by next week...

does anyone know if the touring/pure awd both have a 900v architecture or is it lower due to less modules? also curious how the rwd pure stacks up in that too

They have the same native architecture but because of the fewer modules, it results in 7xx v architecture and a max charging rate of 250kwh. 200 mi of range in 15 mins when fast charging was the tagline. RWD Pure will be likely comparable but probably not exact.

700v

I hope they keep the same battery size for the RWD Pure. It should help get a bit more range due to the small weight reduction and only one motor consuming power.

I saw Cosmos Silver first time yesterday. As chameleon as Zenith Red, it seems it too changes color subtlely based on intensity of light.

I have never been so torn between colors of an automobile. Cosmos silver looks classy. Quantum grey looks shiny. Fathom blue looks like it is unique and will have more of a luster than a shine.
