Except tomorrow is 5 months exactly from my April 1st order date of a GT and I haven’t even got a VIN yetKeep in mind the VAST majority of those 37000 are Tourings and PuresJune confirmations were advertised as 2 - 5 months. That appears to be holding!

Ok, fun update time.
Guy from Goose Island followed up with me.
Yes, they are eligible for IL EV tax rebate, they will complete the form and provide at delivery. Then the owner and tex pro do the rest.
They have 2 GT-P cars available now (cancellations), White on Mohave and Gray on Tahoe, I might try to go see if I like the former later this week.
They are not allowed to let folks look at the insides of cars designated for customer delivery.
His info points to my order hitting the factory floor in October (Order Confirmation beginning of August).
They had a meeting today on software and expect lots of new features (he could not disclose.
Regarding winter tires and wheels, he is able to sell the Lucid designated tires, the Pirelli runflat Sotto Zero 3 are not on the list so it looks like I would have to order those myself and he believes it would be ok for them to do the mounting.
He believes the spare wheels tires set could be stored at Goose Island and will get that confirmed.
Regarding bricked cars he has seen a few out of the hundreds his site has pushed forward but believes the company is standing behind the product and will take care of their customers.
If the mobile van comes out to you, they have an espresso machine to make you a nice coffee.

You are indulging your kids. ;-) I sold mine on EBay for $80/box. Paid for most of my tire inflator (which, in my opinion, really should be included with the vehicle)

I visited Goose Island today, super slick lndustrial loft look
Got to see the Mohave and Tahoe interior schemes in person, confirmed that I prefer Tahoe with the contrasts between black and tan
it is warm today and when the Lucid rep opened the car door you could really smell the leather
He said their leather supplier is Bridge of Weir from Scotland, they also supply Aston Martin and McLaren

Lower lot is starting to look a lot emptier now. Hope there's not a slowdown again with getting cars completed
Hey Lucid, since order confirmation date is supposed to be the primary factor in determining production date, why aren't you just producing Greys and Reds since those orders were put in the "production queue" in March? It's great that you were able to produce a car in 2 months but why is an order placed in July manufactured ahead of orders placed 4 months prior to the July order? Would just like you to follow the terms and conditions in your "contract". Understand if you ran out of charge port covers or trunk lids in grey or red but kind of frustrating to see a July order processed ahead of March orders.
My understanding is that he received a cancellation, however its hard to believe that July 7 was the oldest order in the area that could've been matched with....
Hopefully the emptier lot is just a result of more frequent hauler pickups. That seems more plausible to me.

I asked my guy at Goose Island if there was a slowdown after seeing the most recent Bear's Workshop video. he said no, there haulers were heading his way from AZ.
