Delivery Delays

Home Delivery moved up to tomorrow, Wednesday Aug 3 about 2 hours before the Earnings Call. Associate flying into TX from CA to explain the vehicle. Squeezing in one more delivery before the conference call, wonder if there is a push for more with deliveries being made on the 3rd.
Your Q3 delivery will/should have zero impact on Q2 delivery numbers & therefore possibly the earnings call tomorrow. If Lucid tries to squeeze these August deliveries into July, they are not playing by the book & fudging #s, that will have -ve consequences.

However, an increase in Q3 deliveries vs Q2, starting now, will help them towards Q3 goals - which they will hopefully share tomorrow. And that will impact LCID.

Literally, my $0.02/-.

They lower the target to 6k and yet say that they plan to ship Touring and Pure at the end of the year. Does it mean that the confirmed orders for GT are only 3k and 1k for T and the rest Pure? Even then I think they are guilty of further production delays unless we hear otherwise. I also a stock holder BTW.

Can the factory not build a touring and a GT and a Pure at the same time? I don’t see how to tell which reservations are for which cars based on delivery projections. My concern is that if supply chain is the main reason why the Q2 delivery numbers were so bad, well how is the supply chain gonna be magically better for Q3/4?

More shifts in creation. 3 shifts of different time slots for GT, Touring and Pure.
How fast they can push out will be based on supply chain constraints of each trim materials.

No one know what the future holds and whether or not Lucid can weather this storm, but at least we can still drive our cars and Lucid isn't buying them back. Now Hyundai has to delay production of the Ioniq5 for over a year? It's just a bad time to be making cars.

Also, the wheels are not falling off!
