Lucid Air GT cross country trip LIVE

For the upper right screen you can just zoom out by pinching the screen in.

I was thinking more tilt, most other Nav it's this way. View from "a plane?"

After close to six hours of driving for 7 days straight, arriving with no fatigue, amazing.

This car has zero mechanical issues, so far if the Nav and connectivity of my Astell & Kern is fixed, IT'S THE PERFECT CAR!

Stopped in Edwards. Navigation would not restart. Am I missing a setting, my Nav doesn't restart after getting out of the car? I had adaptive cruise stop working twice, was going through mountain twistys so may have just been overworked.

If Lucid is watching this thread, a suggestion. The nav screen top right when in 3D tilt needs to show forwards about 2.5 miles that way next turn is visible.

Also, if charger is your waypoint Nav needs to cancel it as soon as you start charging, just in case you cut across the parking lot, LOL.

In Denver. National Park tour has ended, but miles to go to get to Indianapolis.
Glenwood Canyon must have been a fun drive in the GT

Did you drive thru Rocky Mountain NP or take 70 to Denver?

Left Denver this morning dropped the wife and daughter off at the airport.

Time to stop for not the three "S's", but now the three "E's." Eat, Empty (bladder) and Electricity. Currently in Colby, Kansas. First charger hooked up and screen shows the screen with cost at the top so started walking to Jimmy John's. After sitting down and beginning to eat saw this.

Got back to the car and had error on the screen. Moved over to the next 350kW charger and now getting some power. Need 65% to make it to Topeka or finish my food whichever cones first.

Nav. wanted me to go all the way to Hays for first charge. 340 miles is a bit far.

The adventure network is comprised of a bunch of level 2 j1772 plugs ( free to public) and a bunch of DCFC level 3 CCS plugs (rivian exclusive). While it would be nice for Lucid to have done this, it's probably better in the long run for EA and EvGo to actually build and maintain their networks rather than have a bunch of separate networks.

As a whole, I concur. The q is, have we reached a threshold where potential EV owners don’t have to worry about range anxiety. I wouldn’t buy a Tesla if it weren’t their supercharger network.

I wholeheartedly believe the answer to your question is no. Especially, considering people who have no experience and will see a 35% drop in their real world range, up to 50% in cold climates. While many people think they can get away with 280 miles, it will only be 140 in cold weather areas. Imagine selling someone on the fact that they are paying $55k + for a car that can only travel 140 miles...

What do you think AT range will be (normal blend of city/hwy miles) in an upper-midwest climate during the cold months?

Not charging in Salina, KS. This is the lowest SoC I've had it to!

This 350kW charger is only giving me 81kW. Going to unplug and try again, if not better move to the next charger.

It would certainly start to sway to yes, if the charging stations were a lot more reliable. Imagine if only a third of the gas stations on the open road actually had gas. You might have a bit more range anxiety in an ICE vehicle. I was more anxious on the trip to SD that the station wouldn't have anything working or there would be a line waiting. Either way, it's not good.

I've repeatedly heard of a particular EA charging tower not providing full power. Seems to be a semi-common bug for them.

I plugged into a 350 kW charger today with 66 miles of range left, max it delivered was 207 kW and then immediately dropped to 177 kW. Car was preconditioned, just a less then ideal charging network for the time being. Happy enough that it worked on the first try plugging in lol

I don't think that I have seen even 207kW.

Thanx @dawktah LucidGT for taking us on the ride! When I got mine I only had to go from SF to LA. Stopped 3 times but 2 of those were for my wife & daughter to use the facilities

Chuckle, you must not have been old enough to drive in the 70's

Yikes! I’ve had this same 350 kW deliver 310 kW before, best I’ve seen.

I wish I knew what the controlling factors are for best power delivery, time of day? Charger in Bishop, CA, Grand Junction and Las Vegas Outlets was the only times, when someone else using it.
