Mine ends in 1394 and still dont have delivery date scheduled.
What is your configuration? When did you confirm the build. Somehow my suspicion is they want to have some delivered in every Major Market. I have not seen but one photo posted here of a Red one except perhaps 50% are marked for California.

Anyone with Vin assignments from mid April that have had their car delivered or a delivery date set?

I'm just looking to get a VIN before the page counter on this thread turns 200...then, maybe delivery by 250? Whew...not holding my breath!

I am about to make my first installment on my loan and still no delivery. Have been trying to deliver it to me since May 15th. Supposed to happen this week but not holding my breath.

My VIN was assigned April 13th and I think I was close to being one of the last cars picked up before the shut down. I picked mine up May 19th.
Are you talking about the OSHA shutdown in AZ or something else? Congratulations on the delivery.

That is a huge issue with the DAs telling customers to get a loan as soon as the VIN is assigned and asking to get the customer cash portion wired to Lucid. I had a long conversation last week the assistant delivery advisor manager. I was able to go over a number of issue so far in my experience with Lucid. Including customers that signed loan docs and paying for something they don't have. Or that those that don't sign the loan doc risk the loan expiring since the loan approval is generally good for 30-45 days depending on the bank.

Just got the call from Josh. Delivery is Friday the 10th. Surprisingly he said the Dallas area has the most cars like 40 and I have not seen any. He believes they are mostly the Dreams and people use them as weekend cars. Besides I hardly venture more than 5 miles from my house and I live on the wrong side of the tracks.

The guy told me to set my expectations that it is a first generation car from a new Company but wanted me to be excited about it.

Also told me the fit and finish is better than any he has seen but obviously with that caveat.

Good news is they have two full time mobile techs dedicated to this area if anything goes wrong.
We shall see. Stay tuned

VIN on 4/28, conversation with *** ********, Director of US Sales, yesterday. Still no delivery estimate. Car still in Casa Grande, six weeks after VIN assignment.

fwiw - and this isn't directed at anyone since no one has done this but:

Make sure to keep any personal information, such as full names, private to you and your DA. Names that are public, such as Peter Rawlinson are fine to be said.

Wtf is that supposed to mean? Lol! The car is crap so just setting your expectations now. He shouldn’t be making comments like that when Lucid is all about quality and not delivering cars that aren’t up to their highest standards. Now you’ve got staff saying “lower your expectations”

Now that I have my VIN and a purchase agreement can I apply for tags/plates or that has to be done at time of transfer? This is first buying a car this way for me.

i believe DA takes care of it. my DA asked me to verify the address (multiple times) so they can register the card under my name. I expect them to handle the plate/tags. That being said, i don't know if things change if you're doing a transfer.

I suspect once some people like even me who booked the car because I love the Company and invested heavily in it realize this big commitment. I can guess from the posts most people here even though they value money have an over abundance of it and don’t care. Also they want the buyers to be fully committed because ofmtheir limited ability to supply these cars. They would rather give it to the person who shows a willingness and commitment to buy sooner than later.

And this is supposedly their #1 man in the area. He sounded pretty frustrated and unhappy. Like I dont like driving 5 hours and spending 2 hours with you when i know you will only retain the first 10 minutes of the conversation.

you will be good as long as you know how to lock/unlock/park/charge your car. I did not want to say anything to the guy. So much for the VIP Delivery. I understand he has to drive from and back to Houston which is a 10 hour Round trip.

They will send you that paperwork via Federal Express from Californi. They have a group doing that for customers. There are 4 forms to fill out, two of which need to be notarized and you send them back via FedEx in the prepaid envelope they send with it. At least that is how mine went.
