AZ still has the alternate fuel plate, you just cannot drive in the HOV lane with it as a single occupant.

You should hang on to the old plate if you intend to transfer the plate to the new Gravity.

I have a regular, plain vanilla plate, nothing special
Just want to have the designation of alternative fuel in case the HOV possibility opens up in the future.
Is your Gravity factory gated?
SA said my delivery before the end of the year.

Depends on the state you are registere in.

I hear through the grapevine that it has completed production but has not left the factory. I am hoping to hear more soon.
 
I switched mine to a just finished, fully loaded White/Ojai/20-21/Platinum/5 seater on Monday. It got to Torrance yesterday and should be through PDI by Monday. Will likely be getting it to delivered to me because it's not easy for me to go to LA on short notice. Planning to vinyl wrap the platinum trim to mimic the stealth trim.

Haven’t gotten my plates yet and they are not on my account on the MVD site yet, but as of September 16, 2025, alternate fuel vehicles can request other than alternate fuel plates. I’m not sure what is done now, but in the past the MVD would look up the vehicle type and issue the appropriate plate based on fuel type. My temp registration does not allude to the plate type.

My production started today. So happy. Placed my order on May 1st.
Does anyone know where I can see the new car pickup checklist?

Has anyone used a cargo cover? Does it go to the back of the 2nd row, the 3rd row, or either?

You guys are all crazy with your door handle complaints. Like are you being chased by a bear every time you get in the car and you must yank the door handle open in half a second rather than one second?? They’re easy, my 4 year old opens the door just fine. As you approach car it gets ready, as you get right next to it handles present, so you just lift handle up then pull. It takes literally one second and one smooth action if you’re not just trying to yank the handle off the door as soon as you touch it. I just did it right now as I’m typing this post getting into the car with no difficulty whatsoever.

There can definitely be some variation in the ease at which each door opens. For example on my car the two drivers’ side doors always open very easily, but the front passenger door takes a firmer pull and the rear passenger is even harder. The SC suggested (without looking at them yet) that they just might not be as “broken in” which is feasible but still sort of weird.

The good thing about these software programmable vents is that they can be tied to your profile. I think they work just fine on my Teslas and provide a nice visual where you can see exactly which direction the air is going.

Aside from the visuals,I don’t mind the Lucid vents, but I think the design on the Lucid Air is better and more easily turned it off vs the Gravity, where you have to push the vent to the end of one direction to turn it off.

It can only be used when the third row is either not present or down. If you look at the sides in the rear you can see the rectangular mounting holes for it just behind the second row.

Still waiting for my car, and just planning ahead.
Personally, I’d like to have the cover on even when the third row is up.
Maybe not a whole of space in this scenario and hence no need for the cargo cover.

I actually prefer the programmable vents personally. I like the air directed to my face. My wife hates that. Every time she drives my car, it takes me like six minutes to adjust the vents again to blow at my face, heh
