Gravity Delivery Discussion

I talked to a SA today and he was able to find an inventory Gravity that is very close to my configuration. Unfortunately, the color is quantum gray and we prefer aurora green. Other options are: stealth, 20/21 tires, DD pro, dynamic handling, 5 seats, Tahoe interior, comfort & convenience. I am not sure if anyone can open the link he sent me, you can try: https://lucidmotors.com/inventory-vehicle/?UUID=687ac0a00b4d4a48e07102a6

Hope somebody likes this one.

Ah only if it was 7 seat!
Link works though

Not sure if this is the place to ask, but do any of you guys know if a 70% front windshield tint would affect any of the sensors on the front of the Gravity? Obviously doing a cut out for the camera but anything I should be thinking of besides that?

May want to ask in PPF thread. If you’re cutting out areas where windshield sensors are, should be fine.

My Lucid Dashboard changed from 'In Production to 'Preparing for Delivery' today. GDE, AG, 21"/21" wheels.
Changes...
My vehicle was supposed to go from Casa Grande (factory) --> Chicago (PDI) --> Denver, CO (prep and delivery). Since the car is doing its PDI in Costa Mesa, CA and I have my wife's family in Irvine and Tustin, we will save Lucid shipping the car to Denver and just take delivery in Costa Mesa, CA. The car left the factory on Sept 10th and arrived in Costa Mesa on Sept 13th. Looks like a week or two if no issues for delivery. Looking good!

I saw a couple green gravities and one black at the service center today 👀

One of the ninja turtle green ones is mine - well, not yet at least. Fingers crossed they call me either end of week or next week sometime. Will make an awesome birthday present from my wife. BTW, load rates from USAA is down to 5.79 %.

You should check out PenFed if you can. Their rates are in the 4s with 3.99% at 36 months.

No. Tint won’t affect a thing. No need to cut out for the camera; it’s in the plastic housing and you won’t be tinting the plastic anyway.

I know it’s a process but man… 27 days and counting in production. Is it likely done or does it take almost a full month in production realistically? Trying to stay patient! 😂

Interesting as our second GGT was in production for maybe two weeks.

Just went to prep for delivery but my wife wants to postpone for a bit as she’s nervous about the early issues my GGT had.

There will be a sweet Black, stealth, 20/21 loaded (except HUD) available in DMV very soon. 😢

There are definitely a TON getting ready for delivery and in production. When I was speaking to our SA about our second, he mentioned that most of the GGT orders he sees are at least batched if not already assigned a VIN.

And there will likely be a bunch of inventory cars in the last two weeks before end of Q as folks choose not to buy for whatever reason. If you don’t have a VIN, time to bug your SA about inventory cars…but wait for a perfect spec match.

I know many here do not have VINs, but the two holdups he mentioned are well known - Lunar Titanium and HUD.

that is intriguing because we have the same configuration in production except for larger wheels. It has been taking forever though. What is the interior color? May have to reach out to our SA. How long does it usually take to get to VA?

I am in the same boat, "In Production" since August 19 and no ETA from the SA.

Congrats on your new car! I haven’t seen many people mention the phone-as-a-digital-key feature, does it actually work reliably?
Congrats on your new car. What do you mean by "I would have asked for this to be built in, if I'd realized that.". They could have fixed it at the time of the pick up?
