I tried out using ABRP for navigation through Android Auto. A $4.99/month ABRP subscription is required to do this.

Another user (@geosynch) mentioned that ABRP was able to pull battery state-of-charge (SOC) data directly from his car though the AA connection.
I have used the third-party Enode car data link in the past to make this connection, but have turned it off since.

When I tried navigating via ABRP on AA without re-establishing the Enode connection, ABRP showed my car's SOC from months ago when I had enabled the Enode connection. Driving around further, ABRP appeared to be dynamically estimating a newly reduced SOC value periodically from the old SOC starting point from months ago.

As an experiment I re-established the Enode connection and the SOC shown by ABRP corrected to the value my car currently had, with about a five-minute delay. ABRP tracked the car's actual SOC while driving, though again about five minutes behind.

Just wondering what others' experiences are, and if my prior data connection though Enode may have somehow prevented ABRP from pulling live SOC data through AA.

Nice. Is Enode also a subscription? Does it also work with Google Maps or only ABRP"

The Enode data link is included in ABRP Premium at $4.99/month. I just sign up for Premium in the days including the trip and a couple weeks before for planning.
However, you have to provide your lucid login and password to Enode so that it can pull data from the car.

Is ABRP a significant improvement from Google Apps or Built-in navi? I'm using LucidLogger and have ABRP integrated however I'm conflicted on paying $5/month for a service I doubt I'll use more than once or twice a year.

I just pay for ABRP for the month I'll be using it. So far I've mostly been using it for road trip planning.

I haven't evaluated ABRP against the car's built-in nav (HERE maps). HERE tends to work pretty well in general if you are navigating to a place that has an address, rather than a place with just a name. But check the destination location carefully against Google maps before setting out.

Some say that ABRP offers more charging destinations enroute. Others have said that some of those additional charging locations can be problematic. I always vet any charginng location against Plugshare before leaving home.

I use ABRP with Enode connecting through my Lucid account. Took a 350 mile trip over the weekend and it worked like a charm. As others have said, the connection has about a 3-5 minute lag but was very accurate with SOC, etc. Interestingly ABRP had me doing my charger stop at a Rivian charger, which also worked like a charm. Never used Rivian and have never been directed to one of those, even with PlugShare. I only use ABRP for extremely long trips and stay with AA for around town.

So Rivian’s charging network is compatible with our Lucid charging port. I had no idea. Thanks!

So Rivian's Route planner is sending people to Rivian's charging station.

I've used RAN (Glens Falls) chargers, fast and convenient if a little pricey. EA up the road is more isolated but $0.10/kw-hr cheaper.
