OTA update 2.1.42

How long has this been happening for? Can try rebooting using the Air logo reset, or a deep sleep.
OK - so I have done the Air Logo reset as you suggested, no change and after about 2 days I finally got the new layout on the pilot screen with the music album art on the right. But even after that Air Logo reset about a week ago we are still having substantial issues. I am going to call Lucid this afternoon and see what they come up with. This all started with the latest long update.
1. Random - 98% of the time no 360 surround view with either fob/driver 95% of the time we have not
2. Random- 95% of the time no blind spot cameras on the pilot panel when changing lanes with either fob/driver
3. Random - gotten much worse, even with a new battery change on both fobs, fob won't open the car and message saying fob not detected while in vehicle - 1 fob 98% of the time so he has to use his valet card. My fob, long delay in opening doors and trunk - this had improved dramatically after we started using the faraday bags a while back when key was not in use, but now with update and faraday bags we have very unreliable fobs.
4. Random - SXM will be playing and the music will just stop. It shows as playing on my phone. The album art is on the pilot panel and it shows a bluetooth log below it. When I look on the console screen under devices it shows my phone is connected. Music will not come back on no matter what I try until I leave the car to go in the store and come back and it will play about half a song and off it goes again for the rest of the ride.
5. Random - 50% of the time no backup camera is available either fob/driver
6. Random - 90% of the time for my husband he calls me from car and I can hear him, but he can't hear me.
7. Random - 95% of the time I get no notification and no ability to read a text on the upper entertainment screen.

I am so disappointed that we are back to really basic features not working - I will let you know what Lucid suggests. I read another person here is having some similar issues - wondering how many others.

Your update sounds like it didn't install correctly. Definitely contact CS and have the engineering team look at it, maybe they will just need to push the update again.

This is an issue unique to your vehicle, and doesn’t sound normal. I know that doesn’t make it feel better, but I’d have service take a look.
 
HA is far worse, because it is the default and now one no longer has the Assisted Cruse option ( cruse control is gone ).

For the next update, could you please ELIMINATE HIGHWAY ASSIST entirely ? Please ?

But seriously, I’d give HA a shot now on 2.1.42. It’s much improved.
 
After the update, my android phone will no longer work with the car Bluetooth. It seems to be correlated to when music is playing.

I can hear a slight buzzing sound on the speakers and then have to switch the phone off Bluetooth in order to make a call on the handset.

Have tried Logo reset and unpaired/ re-paired. No luck. Have called support and awaiting a response.

same type of issues we are having - android phone no longer staying connected with bluetooth
 
Is there anyway to remove that annoying click when you move around on the touch screen? I’m not sure why they added it but, I hate it with a passion.

same here - can't wait to figure out how to get rid of it!
 
So love much of the new update but my I can no longer make a functional phone call. I have an iPhone. TI do not hear the caller when connected through bluetooth. If I dosconnect and just use the iPhone speaker, it works fine. I knwo they had this bug with feedback but this is not exactly a fix.
Same issue with our android phones - I can hear my husband who has called me when in the Lucid, but he can't hear me responding.
 
Since the update, I have noted failure of outgoing calls(no sound at all - on either side). I have tried at different locations and results are the same. No issues with receiving the calls.
We are having this problem too.
 
same here - can't wait to figure out how to get rid of it!
There is a setting for the level in the "Volume" settings but, for some reason only known to the Lucid designers, this sound is tied to the ring tone of your phone...?? So, you can turn it down but it will also turn down the ring tone. That may not be a big deal because the UI should show you when a call is coming in but that is a truly odd pairing.
 
Update on the Android phone/bluetooth issue (other side cannot hear).
Customer service confirmed they are getting multiple reports, and "working on a fix", no ETA.
That's good to know. I have a Samsung Galaxy Ultra. I've had this issue since the last update too, but it's not consistent. Just about 50% of the time. If I hang up and call back, everything is fine.
 
Is anyone else having issues with Sirius XM stations not being able to load or connect since this update? The stations show on the display but I get these error messages. I tried a logo reset and turning off wifi but no help.
 
Have you tried going one channel up or down and then back to the channel you want? That often worked for me, but lately this has been happening much less often and has become almost a non-issue. I’m not sure if the update actually helped me.
 
Yep - by phone says it's connected, but I cannot get any text and the party I am calling can hear me, but I cannot hear them. My SXM will be playing and then just stop - leaving the album art up, and the little bluetooth below it, but no music. Super frustrating. Along with several other issues.
The phone thing is happening to me as well in addition to my posted spotify playlist issue! I've spoken to customer service and they have no idea. My car is going into service next week so I've asked them to look at it... Maybe they can reflash the software?
 
I have issue with Sirius where it shows channel not available, but if I switch up or down to next channel and return to desired channel and it works..

Not being cheeky here - I timed it after it repeatedly happened. It pauses in SXM, AM/FM and Spotify (the only ones use). CarPlay works fine - I'm guessing because it isn't native to the system.

Same here but it lasts 5 to 10s. Air reset helps for a few days, then breaks again. Seattle Metro here with zero cell signal problems.

I had a handful of these problems after I updated initially. It was so bad that I couldn't unlock the car unless I went into the app and manually unlocked the vehicle. Thankfully I had pin to drive setup which allowed me to drive the car but I didn't quite get what was going on so I did leave my car on and unlocked for about 30 minutes while I was inside of a store on accident since my phone key was not working at all. I tried just about everything to get my key working again (along with other features) but nada. I did a factory reset that night and everything was working again. I then noticed the car said I was on some really old version but all my features were still there from the new update. I contacted Lucid and they didn't quite know how to proceed. A week later they sent me another email asking if things fixed themselves. Well within that week, I got the second 2.1.42 update and that resolved my last issue.

I've pointed this out multiple times but Lucid software is not good. Every time I say that, a lot of people disagree or say other (manufacturer that won't be named so I don't start another war) is much worse. They say I was just used to the other manufacturers bugs (which I still disagree with). So take what I say with a grain of salt but thus far in my 3 weeks, I still experience a lot of bugs and hiccups that many in this thread have suffered from.
