Sorry if this is old news but I didn’t realize that by holding down the smooth button for a couple seconds it accesses the regen choices. What other surprises might be in this darn car? 😆

If you go to your settings, and press the Air logo for 10 seconds your infotainment will reboot 😁

Not just smooth, but all 3 drive modes work that way. That function has been present since day 1.

I noticed this yesterday in one of the Sapphire drive videos. I was like, is that Sapphire specific or what? 😂 😂

That is where I saw it on YouTube. Believe that was the head designer in passenger seat when driver asked what regen he was in.
That's precisely where I saw it yesterday. I was floored! 😂

This is why I encourage all drivers to read the FAQ at www.lucidupdates.com. There's a lot of little hints and tips in there to improve your driving experience.

I was today years old when I came across this feature. Actually really helpful since my fiancée absolutely hates one-pedal driving and it’s a quick solve when she takes the wheel.

Now, off to Bobby’s FAQ.

I recall during the test drive, the employee in the right seat changed the regen very quickly. Now I know why.

Regen cannot be turned off and as such neither can one pedal driving. The closest to that is Swift mode with normal regen.

Thanks Bobby! Really enjoyed the FAQs and videos. I was disappointed that in your "Better than EPA" video you didn't actually show exerpts of your drive - you know, the mad dog stares and people flipping you off for going 65 mph!🤣🤣🤣

In terms of overall energy efficiency, does anyone have data comparing "High" vs "Standard" regen modes?

Bobby's faq shows the deceleration time from 60 to 0 with std and high revenues in all 3 driving modes. High is the same time in all 3. The least impact is std in Swift.

Yes, I reviewed that. However, I would like to know the difference in terms of miles per kWh. I would imagine there is an improvement using HIGH versus standard regen (assuming similar driving conditions, elevation, and driving styles), but by how much?

It would only come down to how often you had to slow down.

I mean just using the go pedal to modulate accel/decel. STD swift will be her go to. Thanks Bobby.

Now that you learned that button function regarding regen, please keep regen on high and never use that function again. Haha
