Feedback/improvements for the Air!

I don't understand the complaints over the cupholders. They are a snug fit but I haven't had any issues fitting drinks in my Pure's cupholders. The Lucid water bottle that came complimentary fits perfectly.
I’m with you! I can fit a 40 ounce Stanley cup for water, and a medium or large coffee from Peets or Dutch bros. I think everyone’s trying big gulps or something 🤣

This seems like it would be a very simple thing to implement, but being able to use the steering wheel arrow keys to toggle between “favorite” radio stations would be really nice. It essentially adds the ability to toggle between preset radio stations on older cars. I feel like it didn’t see this on the Mega-poll wishlist.
Agree, I would like that feature also. Perhaps a long press on the next/previous song buttons would go up/down a station.

I am with you on this one.

Maybe some would like to the cupholders to hold 64oz Double Gulp size cup? ;)

Just saying!

A standard water bottle (such as is used on a bicycle) does not fit. The same is true for many other standard sized bottles.
Likewise, larger iPhones and Samsung phones do not fit in the phone charger/holder when they are in a case.
Just say'n...

I have a Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra in a case and it fits (and charges) just fine in the wireless charger, so.... 🤷🏻‍♂️

I think it would be great for them to remove confirmation on sprint mode or at least give users a way to disable. Some folks want to drive sprint 24x7

After our 1,200 mile trip last week, I’ve gotta say that the cup holders and the center console worked fine for me. I normally get a Venti Starbucks to start a driving day and then switch to a 12 or 16 oz water bottle - all those fit fine. My iPhone took a few seconds to situate but worked fine after that. My wife’s phone charged off the a usb cord in the console. The console had plenty of space for what I normally carry on a long trip and was very comfortable for driving. I understand other’s preferences but I thought it was a great improvement in looks and function over my 2015 model S.

My preferred change is for backing out of my garage which is a tight fit. Passenger side entrance to Lucid is not possible in tight garage. Do not auto lock the doors until speed exceeds 5 mph. Improve Homelink on backing out of garage. Provide Homelink overlay screen so I can close garage door with one touch of a button. Also would be nice to keep side mirrors closed when I back out of the garage. Open side mirrors when I get up to 5 mph.

Make it 10mph. Mine keep opening up every time I exceed 5mph, and I have to close them again when coming into my garage.

What kind of cases are you using? OtterBox? Those phones should fit using a non rugged case.
Yes, an Otterbox (forget which, not the extreme one), making them too thick to seat.

I use them backing up... this would be a disaster for many (despite cameras).

I believe that raises legal or regulatory issues of some sort...

FEATURE SUGGESTION:
- Add toggle button to MUTE navigation voice in Navigation setting.
- Ability to control volume level of navigation voice in settings menu -> audio sub-menu.

CAUSE:
When listening music or audio-book, it gets interupted. Especially, when navigation voice is 3x louder than Bluetooth music which startle all passengers. There isn’t an existing option in UI to fine-tune volume level or mute. This is a standard feature in other EVs.

The visual direction on instrument cluster and navigation screen is already great addition feature. TY!

When navigation is active, you can mute the nav voice by tapping the little speaker icon shown on the upper screen, near the bottom edge.

Are you saying that the compass direction is now appearing on the instrument cluster and navigational screen. I don’t use nav often but I have been advocating having the direction the car is going appear on the screen for some time.

With many cars you can adjust navigation voice volume while the nav voice is playing. You just have to catch it while it's playing. Does this not work on the Lucid?

Not sure if this has been discussed before (thread is crazy long). But I was really surprised that there is no way to answer or end a phone call with buttons on the steering wheel. Unless I am missing something, you have to accept an incoming call and end any call on the right side of the cockpit display. There really should be a button on the steering wheel for this. Even if the media control buttons had a dual function that changes/changed when a call comes in.
