Tesla charging > EA
Significantly overall
Charging just always works

The Gravity comes with the adapter needed for this.Does anyone know if there is a way to use the J1772 home charger for the AIr with the NACS Gravity ? Is there an adapter for that?
From photos, the Lucid looks identical to the Lectron. Obviously, Lucid had to go to a third party manufacturer that could supply these in quantity, and had a supply chain in place to the US. I noticed the Lucid website has them now backordered till Aug 29If it's a quality adapter rated at 500A and 1000V, it should work without issue. I'd be comfortable using an adapter from Rivian, Volvo, Polestar, Ford, Lectron, A2Z, but not from Hyundai /Kia, nor one of the hundreds of no-name adapters on Amazon and eBay.
GreatThe Gravity comes with the adapter needed for this.
No, the NACS to CCS1 is just for the Air.Adnillien,
Can you use this adapter ( which i will buy for the Air just for flexible use if needed)
NACS to CCS1 Charging Adapter
to charge the Gravity at an EA is needed ?
thx
Great thanks I think I’ve got it straight at least for my Air for nowNo, the NACS to CCS1 is just for the Air.
Gravity comes with a CCS1 to NACS adapter for DC fast charging Gravity at a CCS1 charger like EA.
It will slow down less than 50 above 90%So who's gonna be the first to report on this activation tomorrow? I am most interested to confirm the belief that the 50 kw max is maintained through the entire charging session.
I can live with that. Most of the time when supercharging my Tesla back in the day I never went that high even on road trips. The juice wasn't worth the squeeze, so to speak. It will slow down less than 50 above 90%
With the adapter it will match the charging sessions on the magic dock stations.I can live with that. Most of the time when supercharging my Tesla back in the day I never went that high even on road trips. The juice wasn't worth the squeeze, so to speak.
You have it straight.Great thanks I think I’ve got it straight at least for my Air for now
So the Gravity comes with 2 adapters? (AC and DC)
I suppose when everything is NACS including even at some of the EA’s it will all be easier
Nevertheless it’s all really just a plug once you understand
Sorry to bother you
I suspect you will draw 50kW from the Tesla SC but only get about 45kW into the battery due to losses from the voltage upconversion and normal charging losses. So who's gonna be the first to report on this activation tomorrow? I am most interested to confirm the belief that the 50 kw max is maintained through the entire charging session.
