I was driving in Springfield, IL and the time was wrong by one hour. It stopped being wrong as I traveled up I-55 back to Chicagoland...

Has anyone else seen problems with their Air not displaying the correct time (timezone)?

@rgtichy It's super annoying, but right now the car(s) seem to default to PT until driven for some period of time. My DE-R has about 1,200 miles on it and it still happens EVERY time.

Yes, I'm in Texas and she constantly reverts to pacific time after waking up. Then after some time she remembers where she is.

I’m on the PT, and I was driving north through Shasta county and my clock went forward an hour. Did the same after leaving Burney but once I got to lake county it reverted. Only happened that one trip for me 🤷‍♂️

This happens once in a while to me too. Skips one hour ahead for a period of time when I’m road tripping (but staying in PT). Then corrects itself eventually 🤷‍♂️

Yeah, I am in Michigan but it is stuck on CST. Annoying. I travel back and forth often and looking at the clock always requires a double check b/c I am never certain if it is correct.

Guess I’m lucky that I’m actually in PT haha

For once PT is getting preferential treatment over ET haha
Maybe not. Remember that the cars are made in Arizona which is in the Mountain time zone but doesn't do daylight savings time. So the cars may be defaulting to MTZ and you may have lost once again!

Nope, I got my car shortly before Pacific time changed to daylight time and it showed PST although I was in AZ. I am hoping this gets fixed before daylight time ends for the rest of the country.

The software team is in CA, no?

Time zones are hard. And to tell you the truth, I wouldn't be surprised if all this incorrect time stuff is part of the reason the OS is misbehaving so often. When you think about how much of a modern computer system relies on accurate time, having it flip in and out of different time zones constantly could be seriously screwing with more functions than you might think.

I wonder if people not in the Pacific Time Zone are experiencing more lockups and crashes than West Coasters?

Someone suggest turning off the automatic time zone, setting it manually to your current zone, and then turning the automatic zone back on to solve this problem, but I tried it and my car is still jumping between PT and MTN.

I tried this, but mine reverted to CST. I agree with others this is annoying. Hope it gets fixed soon.

Mine has similar behavior. It seems to happen when I drive 30 miles west from Dallas to Fort Worth.

Can't it just be set manually and left in manual? If the issue arises out of reverting back to automatic time zone, can't it just be kept out of automatic? Is there something I'm missing?
