Tesla supercharging working today?

That makes sense.

I was not saying going through Lucid is what everyone wants. It seemed to me that everyone was trying to find out how this works at all. I was wondering if what Lucid's website say (plug-it-in-and-charge-through-lucid-charging-service) is not true. Based on @DeaneG 's (and others') earlier comments, it looks like that is not true at the moment.
It's my understanding that plug n charge through Lucid isn't available yet. Initiating a charge through Lucid's app should work, though it didn't for me the single time I tried it. Tesla's app worked.

Lucid is experiencing an issue currently with many customers getting a charge initiated through the Lucid app. If at a Supercharger, the only method currently is to activate a charge through the Tesla App.

Good to know, thanks

Yes, in theory, the instructions I posted above will work with either the Lucid or Tesla app at some point in the future.

I still haven't tested it. I got the adapter, but I need to wait for Lucid to give me my car back after the upgrade for CCCv2. Millbrae says it will take a few hours but when you show up for an appointment, they say that it will take several days before they get to those few hours. In the meantime, I have an ICEV loaner because they said they were out of Lucids. That wasn't quite true because they had the keys for a Gravity loaner on the desk, that they are saving for some guy named John Lasseter.

Sorry for redundant post with other thread -- I just tried it tonight here in Seattle and it all just worked super-smoothly. Plugged Lucid's adapter into Tesla's cable, then into car, then the app asked me to confirm which stall I was in, then boom, charging, 48kW (from ~59% up to 66%.) <$4. Happy to have it in the contingency plans repertoire.

That's great. I think they fixed something because I randomly got my charging service restored.
