Stealth Trim now available online

Shame they don’t have them in 19’s.

The announcement stated that it is available only in GT-P, GT, and Touring
If you let your rep know you're interested in a Pure stealth option, they might pass it on to the higher ups and they might change their minds and offer it.

I just noticed today that on the Touring configuration you have both Aero Lite & Aero Blade wheel options, BUT when you choose the Stealth Package it DEFAULTS to the Aero Lite wheels...I reached out to my DA about this and will keep you posted, but I am getting so sick and tired of the bait and switch games they are playing just to extract more money out of us...I used to think that they really were about the customer experience but they continue to demonstrate they are all about the money...Inserting the GT-P in production at a price point more expensive than DE, then coming out with a car that is $250K on top of all these price hikes and poor communications I'm really starting to question my rsvp and the multiple positions I've taken with the stock, it's infuriating!!

I'm confused, doesn't the stealth package change the wheels for you? If it defaults to the Aero Lite, isn't that just a place holder?

But ti removes the Aero Blade wheels from the menu so you cannot select them, I also noticed that video they had that slid across the screen showing the differences of the stealth mode on the car, originally showed the Aero Blade wheels, in the video (I know this because those are the particular wheels i wanted) and now, it switches them to the Aero Lite wheels.

Under the configurator, you can choose between the 20" Aero Lite Stealth or 21" Aero Sport Stealth for no change in price. I don't think the 21" Aero Blade wheels are an option with the stealth package. They were never shown to be one either?

you’re in the GT config…you can’t do that in the touring config…

An interesting "bug" in the Touring configurator. When you select the Touring model, it shows the normal car with the aero light 20" wheels. Select "stealth" option, and it darkens all the trim and the wheels. Deselect the Stealth option and the car reappears with 21" blades on it (rather than the default 20" aeros or the rims you might have selected prior to the stealth option).

Not a big deal, but an interesting default.
And why EXACTLY does this package cost $6,000? For a few moments there, I thought it gave unique wheels.....but that isn't the case. I must be missing something, but that seems really really expensive for what it does appearance wise.

Add up the cost of having a "good" technician to the equivalent work on darkening all the appropriate things, including the wheels, and then think about how much it's worth to not lose your car for a week or two while they do that, not to mention the risk that the shop will screw up something while disassembling and reassembling, and it starts looking like a bargain.

Also, visit the Porsche web site and try adding or subtracting some of their "cosmetic" upgrade packages. Then you'll really think of Stealth as a steal.

$6k for the Stealth package Lucid has is almost negligible for what you get. The fact that it's first-party and covered under warranty is even better.

At this point in production Lucid should be able to show ever wheel option for each car level that way you know what truly belongs to what car. If you notice that the 21" is available for the Touring at $2k, so when you go stealth the 21" version should also be available because isn't the wheel price part of the $6k package?

Ahh oops my bad! Well the other thing is they weren't going to produce the Aero Blade in stealth anyways so...

They couldn’t have inserted the GT-P at a price equal to or lower than the DE without pissing off all of the DE owners.

What are you basing that on? When they came out with the stealth it had the blades as an option, the whole point of my post was that there was something they offered and then removed…

Are you sure? I never saw any photos or talk of it being in the aero blade

There was a gap in the product line after the DE run finished
For example I wanted a DE but without the white carpet
The GT-P essentially gives me that
Sapphire was released kind of early, but they got some buzz and the Tesla heads must be pissed so some value there
Car companies are supposed to try to extract a buck from customers and the stealth package does that, they don’t force us to take it

Yes, as I said earlier in the post, those are the wheels I've always wanted, so I wanted to make sure they were an option, the video they have that shows the before/after stealth mode of the care used to have the blades in it; now it's the lites...so they have pivoted (again).

It just clearly shows they are pivoting and looking more towards the up market than the scalable market. IDK, maybe it's because they can't figure out the MFG. I really don't know, but I'm not sure they are anyone else does either.
