There's two NY GDE orders in the tracker. Surely they can fit us in? @marqieWhere's my invite?! Is there something above a dream edition I have to put a deposit on?
Talked to Manhattan studio rep. Event at that studio from Fri - Sun in two weeks. A production Gravity will be on display. Said "very different display" than before. Will be closed Wed and Thur before hand to prep. Uncertain if you can sit in it; definitely no test drives yet. Apparently no "vip" portion of the event, so can come by any time. If too crowded, they will setup appointments to see the vehicle after the event (as expecting to have it for a bit after the event but this isn't 100% confirmed).
Ah I just responded to your other post. She seemed quite adamant it was a production gravity (which probably means it's already shipped from AZ to get here in time... unless they are flying them around?). And yes, as we have learned, sales reps aren't always fully informed so take it with grain (or a brick) of salt.Interesting. I wonder if the studio rep had it right about its being a production Gravity, especially as he said no test drives? (The sales folks at Lucid have a pretty poor track record on such things, unfortunately.)
My brother is visiting this week, and I wanted to take him over to the east coast if any of the three Design Studios were going to have a Gravity on display. As Florida is behind only California in Lucid sales, the prototype Gravities have been on the Florida circuit quite a bit. However, I was told that another Gravity would not be here until March 22 (at Miami Worldcenter) and that it would not be a production car.
Made the whole “Private” thing public lol. @Tesla2Lucid put “somewhere in the US”…. We have a leak!
Probably lucid doesn’t want 1M people contacting them about an invite.
Just got the same invite. If I was in NYC that week, I'd attend...
