Software version 3.3.2

Aw boo - I was hoping it was fixed with 3.3.2 since I haven’t seen it since. Let us know if it comes back again?

Argh, so I started having this happen with regularity after the 3.3.2 update, and rarely before w/ 3.3.1. This version didn't fix this issue, unfortunately.

Yup. Three months from now, well after every fob has been updated, I suspect this will be old news.

What is a keyfob update and how can I do it or check if it was done?

I’ve had no black screens Ion 3.3.2.

However, one time on 3.3.1 I do have to rest to get the screens on. I waited over eight minutes and then finally reset them and they were fine. Only happened once.

Again, I think 3.3.2 fixed this entirely. Car has had no issues since the update.

Got it. So not fixed yet. Hopefully mine remains uneventful, but sounds like that fix is still coming.

Schedule service for it. It can be done mobile. It is almost a certainty it hasn’t been done yet, as it only became possible with 3.3.1.

Anyway, the right answer is to ask service.

One thing that is different for me on 3,3,2 is that when i used to do the express up on teh drivers side window, it would go down. No it goes up properly.

As I think about it, I think this is true for me now, too. Will have to pay more attention tomorrow. I am pretty sure it was a seal issue, not software, but happy if software did fix it!

I have rebooted about 5 times. No difference. Also changed the battery in the key fob. The blank screen issue is very very consistent with my car.

Also it’s impacts the driver profile and seat adjustments. And I can’t access the home link buttons so I have to just wait to leave or I can’t close the garage.

I haven’t had the issue with 3.3.2, but, I can confirm that when I had it on 3.3.1 infotainment-related features didn’t work when screens were black - including seats, Homelink, etc as you mentioned. It’s annoying but glad it’s fixed (largely).

One option for you may be to get service to reinstall 3.3.2 for you. Folks had odd issues with 3.3.1 and then service pushed it again specifically to their car and certain bugs cleared. YMMV

That’s a good idea. I’ll call tomorrow and see if they have any options for me. My appt to get the key fob flashed and receive my 2nd key fob isn’t until 10/10. Didn’t think it was a big deal but now it seems like a long time. The wife and kids are already wondering why my new car is “broken”.

Prior to 3.3.2 I had the center console phone charger and key card reader issues. 3.3.2 resolved those issues for about 48 hours. As of this afternoon the phone charger still works but the key card reader is on the fritz again. I did do a reset but that was of no help.

Note to self for my future delivery in next month or so (I hope)(maybe hope?). Will not accept car unless latest software has been installed by SC and verified. After spending at least an hour thoroughly going over car delivery checklist, accept car and go for lunch at place close to SC. After leisure 1 hour lunch, verify no fob/access or drive issues.

Going forward, do no software updates while away from home, on a weekend, or if there is a critical trip planned within the next week.

Lucid has removed the "Compromise Nothing" slogan from their site. At least they're being honest...

Today my key card paired to my profile loaded the guest profile instead of mine twice. I have no idea why it happens. I can't believe such a basic features are still so finicky.

Got the black right side cockpit screen and pilot panel for first time today.

Yeah, I've had it a couple of times also. When it does it the homelink won't bring up my garage either. Key Fob not detected has shown up about 4 or 5 times now when I've gotten into the car but it seems to be a false alert as the car starts. Home Assistant can't seem to detect when the car enters my zone either so now the garage door won't trigger when I return home.

When did you take delivery? If your car came with 3.3.1 they should have done the service on the fob, or was yours delivered before that OTA?

Finally home and got to drive with the last two software updates and FIRST drive in....and it all is working as it should so far! Going to get a USB stick today and try Halo but live stream worked when I tried before and still does now, as I check it as we sit out at breakfast. Just wanted to share some good experiences with it. Hoping it continues!

Oh man. I had that when I was driving around with the interior door panel off the second row driver door for two weeks and the door wouldn’t open. Wife, kids and friends were all like “I thought this was a new car? Isn’t supposed to be a luxury car?” Ugh. It was…awkward.

He’s talking about a DIY software tool integration, not the GPS on car for Homelink. They’ve been silent on that as far as I know.
