I’ll give it a try. Will the fan speed automatically increase as it gets hotter?Set your fan to 10, pick a temp, hit auto and you will see the fan adjust down.

It does not work like that in my car. It has never worked that way.Auto controls both fan speed and temperature, not sure why service would have told you otherwise.
Too much screen hopping? You mean you simply tap the climate button and then choose your seat or steering wheel heat? Seems rather simple to me.
Yes it will, from the owners manualI’ll give it a try. Will the fan speed automatically increase as it gets hotter?
We have physical HVAC ....It's usually more than that. If you're driving along with music or nav open, you have to swipe it away first, and then tap climate. Most cars with full screens have a dedicated space for the seat heaters. And then you want to go back to music or nav, reach forward to tap the button on the top panel, then come back down and swipe from the top edge to bring the lower panel down...lots of steps just to make a simple change and return.
Yes. It works exactly the same asy Honda. Set a temp hit auto. Just don't touch the fan speed.I’ll give it a try. Will the fan speed automatically increase as it gets hotter?
Fair...but if you use AUTO hvac, you don't touch those physical controls very often. Having a physical button for heated seats/steering wheel would be awesome though! I do fiddle with those a lot. One thing i will give to the Lucid is that the seat heater and steering wheel get REAL toasty, which is nice, but i also can't leave them on all the time because it gets too hot after a while lolWe have physical HVAC ....
I (we?) do, but it takes more attention than the "no eyes needed" traditional stalk. In a steady rain, not a big deal, but in mixed conditions where its constantly changing, the auto setting is rubbish and it takes eyes off the road to find the right button.I don’t disagree on the wipers - but you guys do realize there is auto low, auto high, and then regular low and regular high, right? You don’t need to wait for auto to figure it out.
Sometimes the auto low, auto high and regular low and high are just not right for the conditions outside. Being able to adjust increments on the intermittent like almost every other car is what is needed. This is the first car in over 30 cars that I have owned that does not allow you to increase or decrease the intermittent wiper.I (we?) do, but it takes more attention than the "no eyes needed" traditional stalk. This is not true, at all.You can set the temperature. AC does not change (fan speed) to get to that temp. You have to manually change fan speed to get to your temp setting. Service has told me that it is not auto like my previous cars.
Then there is something wrong with your car. Can you take a video? It does not work like that in my car. It has never worked that way.
Agreed - I wasn’t saying that it was a perfect solution by any stretch. It just seemed that some folks didn’t know the single and double lines were “low” and “high” respectively, so I thought it’d be helpful to clarify.Sometimes the auto low, auto high and regular low and high are just not right for the conditions outside. I trick I use to bring up CarPlay without needing to hit the button is to activate Siri. It brings up CarPlay and stay there for me. I am on IOS 18.2 but I believe earlier ones would work as well.Single access button to CarPlay that is always visible. I use Google Maps for navigation through CarPlay. When interacting with the music sources, I always have to hit the “home” button to get access to the CarPlay button. It is so commonly used, I would love to have direct access to
That's never happened with Lucid...all the updates are fairly small by themselves (except maybe 1.x to 2.0?I hope we don't get caught in the Brand X infotainment update jungle. Their user interface seems to change monthly leaving the user searching for things they finally learned how to do.
Why? You can just unplug; you don’t have to stop charging first. I’ve literally never done it, heh.My idea: Change the Open charge port button to a Stop Charging button if the car is actively charging. Sometimes I don’t have my phone to click, and reaching the pilot panel from outside can be awkward.
Then the “stop charging before unplugging” message should be removed. Why? You can just unplug; you don’t have to stop charging first. I’ve literally never done it, heh.
