Hi folks - I got 2.5.0 yesterday on my 22 GT, and while my mobile key (iPhone) works fine, the car shows as sleeping in the app and I cannot control it (even if I am sitting in the car and it obviously is not, Sirius XM is playing, etc.).

I’ve done two logo resets, no change. All else seems fine, and the car is obviously has connectivity since Sirius is streaming, right?

Anyone else see this? Thanks all in advance?

I experience the same issue. In addition, I am unable to lock the Air by pressing the door handle and I have to enter my pin every time I enter the vehicle.

I tried the Air logo reset and the issues continue to resurface.

For me, 2.4.0 the mobile app would connect within seconds. Installed 2.4.10 and 60% of the time just kept saying to “retry”. Now with 2.5.0 it’s back to responding within seconds again. Kind of annoying.

Sounds similar to what I'm experiencing since installing 2.5. The mobile app thinks my car is still in the parking lot at my workplace where I installed the update, the SoC and odometer haven't updated since then, and none of the remote commands are working. I tried reinstalling the mobile app, relinking mobile key, and an Air logo reset with no success. Luckily mobile key still works, but still a bit annoying.

I experienced similar issues - I restarted the app, removed the mobile key and paired it again - that seems to have resolved the issue.

The car won’t wake up in the app for me as well.

I have unpaired / forgotten on my phone and removed / re-paired in the car (along with reboots of car and phone).

Has anyone else been able to work through this?

If the app is not waking the car and you have been through a sleep cycle, it's possible that your telecommunication module is not functioning properly and needs a service visit.

This is not an uncommon problem following updates. From inside the car, I click on the little phone icon in the upper right corner of the app. Then, remove the link to the car, and then follow the instructions to reestablish the link. Say 'yes' when it asks if you want to overwrite the existing link. Then, I like to delete and reconnect the Bluetooth connection to the phone, as well. Takes just a minute. This usually fixes it. If it does not, there is a recent (possibly server-related) problem with wi-fi. Try toggling off wi-fi in the car, and see if it will wake the car simply via the car's inbuilt cellular connection. Some people never even bother to connect the wi-fi.

Thanks for this!

Removing / reestablishing the link (+ Bluetooth delete / connection step) did not resolve it for me. However, taking the car off of my Wi-Fi did the trick!

Glad to hear that Plan B worked. In retrospect, I probably should have told you to try that first. Please report back if it only works for a limited time, as some people have mentioned having to also do some kind of a wi-fi reset. I'm not familiar with how that's done, but I'm sure we can get help figuring it out. There are a lot of people on the forum more savvy than me about that stuff!

The 'turn off WiFi' trick worked for me as well!! This is definitely new behavior with 2.5.0 - wonder if'll be fixed with 2.5.3? THANK YOU all!!

Anyone have issues waking up from deep sleep. I've been away for a bit over a week and haven't been able to wake the car with the app for a few days now. The app seems to think it's check in with the car since it updates the time of check in but app functions aren't connecting and it eventually defaults to retry.
Edit: finally after waiting long enough it woke up. Hopefully this was just another bug if the week that's resolved.

My 2022 AGT is experiencing the same problem. It was working fine under 2.4.X back in Octovber. I haven't driven it again till a week ago. Now, it doesn't unlock on its own. When I fiddle with the App for a while, it unlocks, but then it needs my PIN to start! My guess is, something in 2.5.X broke it. I should try reboot or something.

Lucid's SW is in a class by itself! 😆

Delete and re-setup your mobile key. If it needs your PIN to start, it is not recognizing your mobile key.

I've always wanted to learn why the Air's fobs can't be replaced by a more robust rendition.
My lack of knowledge in contract laws and commercialism is showing here, but I just can't figure out why Lucid wouldn't pay off whoever they have a contract with and give Air owners the option of paying for any upgraded version of the fob, compatible with the existing hardware in the car. Maybe the cost is too high, other things have higher priority, or projected demand isn't deemed sufficient?
Anyway, Happy Holiday Season to forum members and family.

None of us knows any of the details, which I'm sure are covered by some sort of NDA, but Peter himself has said that they are completely stuck with this current fob.

For the Air, and I don’t know when/if that ever expires.

Totally different for Gravity, as has been well discussed. Just adding context.

It seems a very lame excuse....if your FOB and Mobile App have recurring problems, and you contsanly struggle getting into your car, and Lucid says they can't doing anything about it!

To add insult to injury, the valet key in my AGT never worked since day-1....I finally got it fixed after almost two years. They had to disassemble the B-pillar to replace the valet key sensor. Nowadays, I have to carry my FOB, my mobile app, and my valet key card with me all the time. And there is nothing Lucid can do to fix or replace the key FOB, and every OTA could lead to another episode of the Mobile App not working! It is hard to convince me this is a top-brand luxury car!

It’s not an excuse. It’s an explanation. People often misunderstand the difference.

Trust me, Lucid very much wishes they didn’t make this choice for the fob, given how annoyed so many owners are about it. That is obviously why they switched fobs entirely for Gravity.

They never said they can’t do anything about the mobile key; in fact, they’ve improved it significantly over time. Mine is just about flawless.

The valet key not working was a problem unique to you; that is definitely the first I’ve heard of that.

Why carry all 3? I only carry the phone and card. Others only carry the phone and fob, as the fob works as an NFC key even if the battery dies. There is no reason to carry all 3.

Nobody here is trying to convince you of anything. It definitely is a “top-brand luxury car”; whether you feel that way is entirely up to you, though, just like it is to every other owner.

Merry Christmas and Happy Hanukkah.
