Rubber like noise?

Is been about 1K miles with my Touring, so far loving it... Only concern I started hearing random "plastic rubbing noises" I can't detect what it is but is coming from the back of the car. I notice it more when on a sunny day. Not sure if others have experience such and if so, did you ever find out what it was? I am going to try to connect with service center. I just want to understand if this is a common occurance.

Also, the rear deck parcel shelf can rattle against the rear windshield, solved by sandwiching a soft material between the two. I used felt pads and problem solved. There is nothing back there to damage doing this.
