With all due respect and appreciation for all you do on the forum, Borski, It's not just physics in this case. I am one of those whose robust software change led to a post software change in the preprogrammed regenerative deceleration, a few updates back when it was not cold. I just chalked it up to the update and adjusted my driving after a couple of longer than usual stops and did not give it a second thought. I expect things change with updates, heck I was used to my dashboard and display changing from one hour to another with some of the Rivian updates. At least, they did inform one of the upcoming changes and what to expect. I'm not knocking your point down or trying to be contrarian. It did indeed change post update from one drive to another and has remained that way since - and the weather had not changed before to after the update!
