Lucid Air Pure 2023 AWD
Hello,

I currently lease a 2023 pure and about 1.5 years into the lease. I live approx 3.5 hours from the nearest service center. My first year of owning, if I had any issues, they would send someone out to repair.

Recently, they have not been offering mobile service and I have had to drive to the center, drop off the car, grab a loaner and come back a few days later. Obviously you can see how this is frustrating when I live so far away.

Other dealers have offered to drive me a loaner and pick up the car for service. My service center does not have that option.

I love the car, but I do not see myself getting another lucid after this lease. I expected the car to have issues since its a new company, and they would be covered under warranty. I did not expect to lose 14 hours everytime I needed service. I am averaging a servicable issue approximately every 4 months.

I'm not looking for anything from this post. I just wanted to share my experience and hope Lucid can offer better service options in the future.
 
Even if they don’t offer mobile service, they do tow it if you are too far from a service center. Have you asked for them to tow it, or have they offered?

I asked about towing once. No towing if the car driveable.
 
This is troubling, since I would be a similar distance from the nearest service center. I definitely wouldn't drive the car that kind of distance for service.
 
You should ask again and escalate. 3.5 hours away is 100% something they will tow for.
As someone who doesn't live near a service center, my experience was that they *might* offer a tow depending on what the service is for. It's not guaranteed.

This sounds a bit unsettling, and I hope you put a bit of pressure on someone higher up to fix this. I’ve only had my Air GT-P for a few months but when I had service address some technical service bulletins upon buying it there was no reservations on behalf of Roswell GA service center to coordinate towing services to and from my residence. N=1, but wanted to share my experience as someone who lives 300 miles from service center.
