Lucid has redesigned the Gravity webpage. Had I just missed this and Lucid has been designating the Gravity as a 2026 model all along? How could a vehicle that began deliveries in 2024 be dubbed a 2026 model?

Or maybe pre-orders have gobbled up their projected 2025 production? New orders at this point would be MY 2026, no?

That doesn't look on folks who are waiting on Touring Trim, no? From business point, Lucid will love to just yank the higher trim as they are making more $

Possibly. But that either means the order numbers are really huge -- something I think Lucid would have broadcast? -- or this is going to be a really, really slow production ramp.

Also, notice that the webpage doesn't say "Order Yours" but rather "Design Yours".

I'll bet Touring trim will be available to order in late 2025 (trailing GT by a year), and deliveries won't commence until 2026.

But, then again, throughout the launch of Gravity, they've kept their PR powder dry, and each tidbit they've released has been better than expected (range, timing for supercharger access, charging performance, etc.). Maybe there's an update on the horizon wrt backlog and it'll be a doorbuster.

Yes, but the drop-down menu for selecting the model doesn't even show a Touring. It shows the four Air models and only the Gravity Grand Touring.

It's always been "Orders Now Open" but "Design Yours" I believe

Could the explanation be as simple as this being "early 2025" and orders for the Touring not opening until "late 2025"? Not being sarcastic, although it probably reads that way. Genuine question. Don't like that we're always having to read the tea leaves when there's a change.

A typo?
Like the announcement on the website about the next earnings call being February 25, 2024.

Wish it was that simple, but doubting that's the case.
Questions for the next earnings call open on Feb. 11, but that's an obvious question that I'd like to believe will be addressed during the call. Fingers crossed.

He’s on the Compare Vehicles page, which lists a selection of years and trims, but not every vehicle that has ever been produced. For example, no GT-P. I would not take that page as the source of truth about every Lucid model planned for or that has been produced.

It is not a canonical list of Lucid Air models and years.

Moreover, they did not change the gravity webpage. They simply added it to the compare models page, and decided to add a single 2026 model rather than adding an *identical* 2025 model.

There is no emergency here.

Yep, it's one of the features commonly found on automaker and other websites when you want to compare the features of one version of something to another. However, I've only seen it done for different trims of the same model when it comes to cars. Except, of course, when Edmunds races a Lucid Air on winter tires against an Acura NSX on summer rubber to compare their handling and braking. I've never seen such a comparison feature on an automaker website between two vehicles as different as a sedan and an SUV. To me, it's just another of the odd marketing things that comes out of Lucid . . . along, apparently, with a lot of typos.

I've just noticed a difference in the sliding glass cover for the center console that I hadn't noticed before. Forgive if surfaced elsewhere, but I haven't seen it discussed. Mojave Purluxe has a different sliding cover than all the other more premium interiors. Note the lack of linear etching, and the missing 'Gravity' treatment on the Mojave Purluxe. Interesting.
