Redesigned Gravity web page

I'll bet Touring trim will be available to order in late 2025 (trailing GT by a year), and deliveries won't commence until 2026.
Possibly. But that either means the order numbers are really huge -- something I think Lucid would have broadcast? -- or this is going to be a really, really slow production ramp.

Also, notice that the webpage doesn't say "Order Yours" but rather "Design Yours".
I believe that Lucid's projected production capacity for 2025 Gravity GTs (to be produced by July 31st) is already spoken for.
Meaning that any subsequent orders (starting production ~August 1st), will be designated as 2026 Gravity GTs.

Moreover, they did not change the gravity webpage. They simply added it to the compare models page, and decided to add a single 2026 model rather than adding an *identical* 2025 model.
Well I sure wish they had just added a single 2025 model.
We've got enough tea leaves to read already.

I actually think it is a typo. Of course, that's assuming that Lucid would reach for a megaphone if the entire first-year run of the Gravity was already spoken for.

I've just noticed a difference in the sliding glass cover for the center console that I hadn't noticed before. Forgive if surfaced elsewhere, but I haven't seen it discussed. Mojave Purluxe has a different sliding cover than all the other more premium interiors. Note the lack of linear etching, and the missing 'Gravity' treatment on the Mojave Purluxe. Interesting.View attachment 26339View attachment 26340
The Glass Cover etching is a Premium feature.
Mojave Purluxe is the only non-premium Leather Alternative.

Yup. Base trim is “Frosted Center Console Glass Cover” vs. “Premium Etched Center Console Glass Cover (Available for upgrade, only with Premium and Leather interiors)”

$94,900 Pleb Edition vs $97,800 Premium Edition 😂

Hmmm.
Nine months (Nov. 2024 - July 2025) to fill three months (Nov. 2024 - Jan. 2025) of orders?
Now granted, there could be huge number of orders in these first three months, but if that demand doesn't decrease for awhile, in addition to Touring orders opening by perhaps Nov. 2025, I wonder.

They've said production will ramp up as the year progresses, so this is probably overkill:
Feb. - Apr. orders filled by Nov. 30. 2025
May - Jul. orders filled by Feb. 2026
Aug. - Oct. orders filled by May 2026
Nov. - Jan. 2026 orders filled by July 2026 (includes Touring orders)

For real.
I was getting ready to take an afternoon nap while watching westerns.

That was nice!
Nice voice and loved the trumpet. I played jr. high and high school years.
Headed to couch now.

I'm guessing it's the latter, given the lackluster "ramp" we've seen so far and the Touring being a long time away.

Lucid has redesigned the Gravity webpage. Had I just missed this and Lucid has been designating the Gravity as a 2026 model all along? How could a vehicle that began deliveries in 2024 be dubbed a 2026 model?

Lucid delivered some vehicles on December 30, to insiders. If general deliveries started after Jan 1, then it's a 2026, since it wasn't being sold on 1/1/25. They have to keep the designation until at least 1/1/26, meaning that the model year can stay around for almost two years. January 1 of the designated model year must be one of the dates during which the car is available for sale. Or at least it's supposed to work that way. Tesla started delivery of the Model 3 in the last few days of 2017 and called it a 2017. Cars from a week later were called 2018. Their practice resulted in lower book values for people whose cars have what I'd consider the wrong model year.

Is that the real @nicktwork tho? His picture looks slightly more warm than normal, I feel like it used to be cooler in color. Perhaps I need to step outside with my phone and see if the lighting is affecting it. ;)

I do follow him on X. It’s totally him 😂
