Uh oh..What color really are the seatbelts? Assuming a grey.

They are grey but have some sort of reflectorize properties hence very bright on the picturesWhat color really are the seatbelts? Assuming a grey.
The backseat really is a disappointment though. Seatbacks, np sunshades, and only 3 zone climate. They are grey but have some sort of reflectorize properties hence very bright on the pictures
What? There are 3 seats, you literally can’t have more than 3 zones for climate in the back. The backseat really is a disappointment though. Seatbacks, np sunshades, and only 3 zone climate.
Wait sorry, I was talking about the whole cabin in general. 3 zones means 1 for the back instead of 2.What? There are 3 seats, you literally can’t have more than 3 zones for climate in the back.
That’s disappointing, both my i4 and Sonata Hybrid have that ability. That’s really cheaping out on Lucid’s part.CORRECTION:
foot and sidedoor lighting cannot be adjusted. No adjustable ambient lighting. Just the screen theme.
So far just the gasket on the driver side of the trunk which is very minor and Christopher already noted and ordered a replacement. Other than that the Dmode of the homelink did not work. I ordered a replacement remote to program with my garage door opener and use it to program the homelink.Any quality issues or things you noted to the DA to fix??
Yes. Pure seems to have 2 in the front and 1 in the back.Wait sorry, I was talking about the whole cabin in general. 3 zones means 1 for the back instead of 2.
I know it’s disappointing to see certain features not make it into all trims. But this is why Lucid has different trims. That’s disappointing, both my i4 and Sonata Hybrid have that ability. That’s really cheaping out on Lucid’s part.
So, a total of 12 were delivered? 6 in Millbrae and 6 in Orange County?Took delivery today at Torrance facility. Derek Jenkins in attendance. First Pure in Orange County.
Why is this even being talked about, who cares if two people in the back seat want 70 and 71?Wait sorry, I was talking about the whole cabin in general. 3 zones means 1 for the back instead of 2.
I knew almost all the specs of Pure except 1 temp control zone in the rear which is no big deal really. My 7 passenger has 1 for the rear 5 seats and it was never a problem. What I knew and did not mind at all are rear window power sun shades, no massaging front seats, no soft close doors, no power Frunk. I actually did not want the glass roof and the acceleration of Pure is way more than I want. So, this car was perfect for me. I did know what the ambient lighting limited to only displays but that is not something I would care about. I really love the leg room in the back seat though. DDp Highway Assist worked well on San Mateo bridge and 880 South on the way home from Millbrae. No one can say that Pure is not luxury. On a scale of 1 to 10, if Dream is a 10, I can easily call Pure 8.I know it’s disappointing to see certain features not make it into all trims. But this is why Lucid has different trims.
One way to look at it is that you are getting pretty close to what GT owners get to experience for ~$50k less money.
I know other companies may be offering more at this price point (or even lower) but they have the advantage of scale. Lucid is not there yet. They can’t afford to make no profit on what will likely be their best-selling model for a number of more years.
BMW can lose money on the i4 and not bat an eyelash.
While I agree with Peter that a lot is riding on the Pure trim, this will be their greatest challenge. There’s just far more competition for people’s attention in the Pure’s market.
The Pure’s looks, handling, and range are a big advantage. But for those looking more to the luxury side of things, it’s a slightly tougher sell, for sure.
It also doesn’t help that people need to come to a forum like this to find out about these differences. I really wish Lucid had communicated the Pure’s specs more clearly. Or at least that they’d do so now.
I have to agree. The cloth interior of my 1984 camry which I had till 1998 lasted better than the leather interior of 2006 Lexus LS.Interestingly, I’d bet the Pueluxe will wear better. So many of my leather equipped cars showed annoying wrinkles, despite caring for them, as time went on.
When I was at the Studio last week, I was shown the Purluxe seats and the advisor said, “Visually I’d be damned if I can see the difference between this and the leather”. Both felt soft to me.
I wonder if the seats are as tolerant to stains as leather. Anyway, we are empty nesters and that is a non issue.Just finished taking interior pics. I'm too comfortable inside and don't wanna leave lol. Music is nice too. I lost 2 miles being inside for an hour. I can stay here for another 170 hrs haha

You guys have doors on your cars?? Fancy! Most of my vehicles don't have doors or roof or seatbacks or things like that! (spoiler: four of my vehicles today only have two wheels)I’ve never owned a car that does have soft close doors until this one.
