So, the finance email saying the car is coming soon is not just another spam announcement? It usually means someone is on the radar for delivery? I just received one this afternoon.

I got my VIN one day after receiving the financing email. So good luck!
 
Just got a call from the Seattle service center. Car to be delivered Tuesday , which is approximately 2 weeks plus a few days after payment/completion of inspection. That is pretty quick. It seems as if the company is making progress with its logistics. Fingers crossed for more good news for everyone on the forum.
 
Got the finance email today, then an hour later VIN assigned email from DA. Confirmation date 5/19/22; Quantum Grey / Mojave; VIN Assigned 8/30. Kinda an outlier based on the tracker, but maybe geography related, as the email did say if you change your delivery address it would delay delivery. I'm in Irvine, CA

Its legit. Check your portal to see if there are additional dox. If not, you should get your VIN this week, hopefully. Or they are going to call you & tell you to pick the car up on Sunday. :)

Wow....you definitely lucked out with a Confirm date in May and VIN assignment in Aug. I confirmed in June and, since it appears 2023 delivery for that date, I purchased a 2022 Model S to drive in the meantime. Gonna have to find some eager Tesla buyers soon if the Lucid shows up before Christmas.

Just a guess...37000 reservations and only about 2000 cars delivered in 8 months. Like I said, if it gets here before Christmas...Merry!!!!!

Keep in mind the VAST majority of those 37000 are Tourings and Pures :) June confirmations were advertised as 2 - 5 months. That appears to be holding!

I would like to think you are correct but I do not see much action on the GT delivery tracker.
 
I confirmed in June, received VIN July 29 and received email today that my car has completed production and was being prepped for delivery. So things are moving

All depends on what exterior color was ordered. Black and White are definitely getting theirs this year. Red has a chance. Grey (what subsailor ordered) is pretty iffy and his guess of 2023 seems realistic.. Silver appears to have no chance.
 
Just got my email from ”Joey” Petersen, my DA. My car has moved from “general assembly” to the “end of the line.” Zenith Red AGT with Santa Cruz interior and 19” rims. VIN to be assigned “within the next ten days,” and delivery planned for late September and early October.

I’m out of town at the moment but will answer DA’s questions in his email to me, upon getting home tomorrow.

I’m getting excited again!

I am super optimistic for sure but as I mentioned, the only thing close to zenith red I want to see is Santa Claus delivering my QG GT....I certainly am more confident with the OTAs coming out and only a few (but some catastrophic) issues. The 12v battery and auto park issue is pretty serious but 4-6 weeks with a 150k car in service after total failure is crap. Once again...thanks to the forum personnel for letting us be part of your experience and plan for our own journey. I already plan to query borski on setting up my sound system and hydrobob on certain tweaks and procedures.
