Now you can be like HQ guys tracking your car. If the driver stop by Las Vegas and pause the journey for days, you would know it’s not Lucid’s fault.
 
I’m definitely thinking this is an app bug that will eventually get fixed. As someone pointed out, it’s not your car yet (since you haven’t paid for it) so Lucid probably doesn’t want you to be able to open the trunk while it’s sitting on a hauler on the way to the Service Center.

Not the highest priority bug, but still a bug. At least we all get to be entertained in the meantime.

I have been tempted to honk the horn at times but have resisted the temptation. :D The truck driver must have gotten a good nights sleep but is now on the road headed west, lets hope for no detours to Las Vegas on the way.

I envy you ... I don't see my car & hence still in the 'dark' about my delivery ...

Mines also stopped responding and I’m like was my question stupid? But then like the test drive person who asked to confirm the date for a test drive also hasn’t responded to me either in like a week so I’m like…ummmm should I be concerned?

Yes the CFO is much more forthright because she has that experience. Peter was never part of ANY C-Suite. He was chosen for his Engineering information and being a Tesla insider.

Again I maintain Peter Thiel the thug convinced him to say they will deliver 25K Cars in 2022 so the Merger could go through.

The second mistake was to bring that number down to 12-14K knowing they could not deliver the 512 or 520 DE’s they promised in 2021.

You just can’t keep making excuses for too long or people stop believing you.

Also look at the outstanding share count. 1.69 Billion. Tesla after two splits does not have that many and RIVN is less than a Billion.

They HAVE TO start selling their battery tech. Most people invested because they claimed they had both ready and they are really a battery Tech Company.

Once they could not make enough Cars to fulfil their guidance now they are on the defensive.

It did not help that COVID and the Ukraine conflict created issues for the Auto Industry.

Depends on where you are coming from .. meaning if you are really super-duper i-want-it-now, then you will wait & work around Lucid's timelines - whatever, whenever they may be.

But if you could care two hoots about them or their success & believe its their loss in not earning your biz, just walk away.

My experience: Their response time has been A+++. Yes, they are not giving me the answer I want (my car is ready for pickup yesterday), but they do get back to me at least once a week when I check on status. And no, they have never divulged the exact reason(s) why my car was/is delayed & understandably so, which frustrates me. (DAs don't have magical powers to speak what we want to hear. )

By accident. Mine only said your Lucid is on the way, never was able to access it before delivery, as has been the case with most owners.

You log into your account on the phone. It usually just shows very minimal information but as your car gets close to delivery something triggers the app to show you your car info and can trigger remote features. It's intermittent though, sometimes it works and other times you get a message saying "your car is ready soon"

It's a good way to at least track where your car is but the moment someone thinks it will be a fun idea to open the trunk, frunk, honk the horn etc. I would suspect Lucid will shut it down very quickly.

Maybe spreadsheet transaction status column has clerical error said “PAID” and cascaded down granting user access to his app, or he is a ex-NSA hacker. 😂
 
My VIN assignment was 6/15, and got word today my car is fully built and the next step is to transport it to Illinois. I imagine it'll go to Goose Island for a final inspection, which I was originally told takes up to 2 weeks. I give it a week for transport, which I know could be actually longer. So 3 weeks from now I hope to be driving a Grey/Tahoe/21" GT.
