yes, on July 18th. ( i think i previously said the 15th but just rechecked the email) Then they said it would be two to five months. Last Friday he calls and said the car is leaving the factory going to Goose Island for PDI and to expect it in two-six weeks.

I was expecting to see at least a couple of these cars on Long Island considering that the studio that opened on May 27th said they had the first 9 vehicles coming in for delivery. So far I have seen 1 on the road (in matte Black) and that guy just happened to be shopping in the same center the day the Lucid studio opened.

I was at the Short Hills, NJ studio today and saw only two covered cars.
 
Well I received an email today with my Scottsdale DA's name and intro. We have a phonecall scheduled today to discuss my registration form and details going forward. Damn, this is almost like Christmas!!!! AirGT Quantum Grey/Tahoe/19inch (changed from 20")

The eagle has landed we are going to go see the car this afternoon...... Well the response here is that the eagle crashed and burned the car is absolutely beautiful we're totally excited but frankly after 2 months of intensive PDI and supposedly a PDI at Riviera Beach the gaps on the car are totally unacceptable the left side of the card does not even come close to the right side of the car the left door hanging 1/8 of an inch low trim doesn't even line up right rear quarter panel and I can go on and on of course it's a white car so every line is visible and we're not talking a 16th or 32nd of an inch here we're talking major Gap differences panels not lining up with bumpers we're totally disappointed frankly if we weren't so excited about the car at this point we would walk away but we're not we're sure that this problem will get resolved expeditiously.... I'm sorry to say that my Genesis gv80 has better fit in alignment on its exterior panels than this car I am totally disappointed

Sorry to hear...

Are they taking it back to resolve? What are the next steps?
 
I did a pre-inspection before I accepted delivery.... I'm still waiting for a response the staff was very nice but I didn't feel that we were in a position of getting any particular resolution to the matter so it's only been 2 hours we'll see what happens but I just can't understand a company of this stature doing two months of PDI in missing so many blatant defects I mean the bumpers didn't even line up edge to edge and there weren't even gaps in certain panels they were metal on metal and other gaps you could put a pencil in it very frustrated

so sorry to hear this. While i am excited that my car should be arriving within a month or so, I am terrified that I will have problems such as this. I am a stickler about these things and have purposely never purchased the first model year of any car out of concerns with manufacturers having time to get it right. I just liked all things about the technology in this car an jumped on it.

98.5% of time you will be fine. Minors are not having to worry. Major, Lucid sure want to take care of it fast for its reputation building.

I can see more service attention reporting in forum, clearly AMP is ramping up production in higher gear.

So do we that so why we jumped in..... I'm fully confident that they're going to take care of the situation correctly I'm just concerned how they're going to be able to rectify the situation because it's not just one panel I probably would be more comfortable if the car was returned to the factory and not done by a local situation but we'll have to see how it turns out

well it works!!! Just got off the phone with my DA. Not exactly what I was hoping for but at least some clarity. Car started production last week, hope for VIN in a 2 weeks. Production done a month after that then 2-3 weeks for inspection. Expected delivery mid to end of September. That would be 6 months from conformation to delivery. The legend of this forums magical powers continues

That’s crazy. I confirmed in March and still have no VIN even though they said I would by July.

I get no info from my DA. He just says there are delays.

Can’t tell you how many times I have been told that. I don’t believe it. Just see how many people are earlier than you on the spreadsheet. Does you DA’s name start with a J?

Don't hear from mine at all. Even called the sales person who originally referred me, still no reply. Who wants to call someone and tell them the car the CEO personally told me the would be ready in March isn't. Luci keeps moving the football. Not a good way to run a company.
