Yes, I did my test drive from Short Hills, which is closest to me in Philadelphia area. I missed some communications that went into the junk folder because I was focused only on the emails / texts / calls DA I'd been emailing. I completely missed the first delivery day notification, only finding it when I got an email saying they will deliver it on 30 sept., then another email 5 min. later saying, 29 Sept. The email I did not find said it was to be delivered on the 28th Sept. Glad I did not see it then (sent on 24th) as I would have been locked up. Have new medications ... seem to be working.

I drove my DA crazy going back and forth on where / how delivery. Was going to try to ship it directly to my detailer, but that didn't make sense when I thought more about it. I've been overwhelmed with something like covid brain....it may be all the excitement. I really honestly did not expect to hear about delivery this year, so I was unprepared for all that has happened this past week. I spend 5 hours this am posting about how the key fob works. No, it wasn't the battery. I read that part weeks ago, here. I was pressing on the icons on the back side. I did not know that the hidden button has no icon. Simple when you know .... impossible to tell if you don't.

I can understand why home delivery might be fraught when you are delivering 50 cars / day. Glad to have experienced it myself ( I ordered this car 25 Dec. 2021 confirmed 1 Mar 2022 VIN 14 Sep 2022 Delivery 29 Sep 2022.
Brennan was my DA . He was absolutely as happy as I was. We just stood there and grocked the car. He was very patient with me and a joy to be around with his positive energy. The car was shipped to Chicago for final inspections, then to me here in the Philly 'burbs. This is the way.

Whilst I await a slot in the detailer's schedule I am told DO NOT DRIVE THE CAR, which the wife loves. This is very hard to not do. Very hard. I did a lap around the block (residential) in this epic fall weather. Very hard not to drive to Pittsburgh for some cigarettes. I don't smoke but would take it up if I could drive the car now. Meanwhile I am sitting in the car learning the menus. Also, unexpected bonus: I'm learning how a smart phone works, and there is nobody under 60 years old near me.
I posted photos in two places ... in photos and in Cosmos Silver threads.

Agree. Im 6'5" and body, arms, and legs proportional and need the steering wheel to extend 2-3" further out for comfort.

Based on other posts and their timeframe between pencils and delivery, it seems like reading tea leaves.

Question: I noticed on my PA that odometer reads 200 miles. Has anyone else been delivered a vehicle with that many miles on it???

My PA also stated 200 miles, its boilerplate
My car was delivered with 23 miles

No pencils here, but dividing the purchase price by three (hat, water bottle, and swag bag), friends noted that it was great they threw in the car for free.

I got my pencils weeks after I got my car. Pencils delivery schedule is just random.
 
Sunday is day hike day for my wife and I so I finally got a chance to enjoy the car on the highway.
Really incredible handling, feel and control.
I hope someone does a back to back to back review of the GT-P and DE and GT versions.
Passing n the highway is pretty hilarious.
Car is super composed on the road, 80 feels like nothing.
My wife got a kick out of the camera system providing an overhead view when we were in close quarters like the driveway with buildings on both sides whan exiting our condo.
The only thing to gripe about is the Nav. We tend to avoid the highway cutting through downtown Chicago (this trip we were heading to a Southwest suburb. One I deviated from the planned route, there were of ton of recalculations and the Nav seemed to thing we were still on the original path. I pulled over once to redo it and it just did not get the idea.
The other funny thing and this has been noted by others, if you push the left stalk forward a bit (unintentionally) while using it to signal a lane change, the windshield wipers will come on briefly. I just have to better train myself to use a very up or down motion.
The car is tremendous fun and so comfortable for a cruise.

My favorite weekend day trip when I lived in Chicago is up and down LSD and following the Lake Michigan Circle Tour signs up to Sheridan and beyond ;)

If you take your GT through downtown, Im sure everyone will gawk at ya.

Cant wait to take my GT through the Washington mountains.

Completely agree but
Last Sunday I took my LC 500 Convertible downtown and cruised around the Viagra triangle, plenty of head turning
On the way home I got the rear/driver side clipped by an under-experienced 18 wheeler driver on W Division and N Halsted
Then had to waste time with filing a claim, taking it into the shop to be looked and and scheduled, getting texts/calls from ambulance chasers

Sometimes I just go back to the home screen, wait a few seconds, and then click back on nav and it has fixed itself. Same thing with music. It fixes it about 75% of the time.

Sometimes I just go back to the home screen, wait a few seconds, and then click back on nav and it has fixed itself. Same thing with music. It fixes it about 75% of the time.
