It took me some time to get used to it on ios too.

I like it, though I wish the four handy button icons were a bit larger, and in the same line weight as the text controls just below them.

The new app appears to use Google maps on its navigation screen. This means there may be times when you can see a POI on your phone screen, but if you search for it by using the magnifying glass, you get no results. This is because the POI exists in Google maps' database, but not in HERE maps that the car uses.

It seems that sharing a destination from your phone's Google Maps app to the Lucid app works much better - if you find a POI on Google Maps app, you can successfully share it to the car ("Lucid") even though HERE maps does not have the POI in its database, nor even show roads to it.

Keep checking. I have been checking the past couple days and finally got it last night.
The app version is 2.0.0

Got an official email Lucid App 2.0 is out. Nice it has a bear logo now.
For some reason, I don't get seats for heated/cooled surfaces, which makes me a little sad; only the steering wheel.
At least it's something. I love my supermodel and her quirks.

This is currently a bug with Dream Edition owners. Poor us!

In the new app, Android. When I click the power icon, the "working/computing" icon appears, spinning for about five seconds. When it closes the home page is still displayed, doesn’t the power settings page.

I got it, and practically everything on it was grayed out until I unplugged the car. I'm not sure if it's supposed to be that way but I can't think of a reason why Lucid wouldn't want me to be able to warm up or cool down the cabin when it's plugged in.

Lucid hires some interesting software developers.
I'm fairly certain the software that controls bass/mid/treble is set to 100/1000/10000 Hz respectively. Can I choose the 3 freqs please? I'm a musician and play over a dozen instruments and part-time studio sound engineer and these are not ideal for music for Earth-humans. A better setup might be 250/1200/6000 Hz.

I do like a few new features. The "Cabin Temperature" is a nice touch. I've lost the outside temperature, however.
My graphic is an animated, dark medieval jail cell of vertical lines; I don't get the car icon anymore. I like how moonlight animates some of the bars. I'm in Lucid Jail !
I find it interesting "Maintenance" says, "Tire Pressure Normal". I wonder what other messages might appear there?
I've always been interested the TPMS receiver only turns on upon driving for 5 minutes above 20 mph, which is unusual as most cars check when turned-on our "out of sleep mode".
I still want a 5 band, user-defined-frequency GEQ. I've solved my lack-of-bass by streaming through Bluetooth using an App GEQ for now (the woofers are up to the challenge, it's just the 3-band GEQ is set weird). It feels like the code is Java-ish but accessing it is locked.

I love it. It is so much better at unlocking my car when I walk up to it. The old app was totally unreliable at unlocking my car. I also like the temp part of the app and you can set the charging limit so easily and the trunk and frunk can be opened easily. I give it an A as far as software upgrades go. So often the upgrades bring very little change or improvement

Most places I work do not allow cellphones so I have to leave the phone in the car. I forgot once and left Bluetooth on and the car was still unlocked (of course) and running climate and the radio. Ooof. Generally I simply turn off the cellphone when I park.

First encounter with the new app not so shiny. It keeps asking me to add a payment method to my mobile wallet, even thought there is absolutely a credit card attached. THe notification says the charge service is disabled. Does that mean I can't charge at EA using P&C? I don't use that very often, but when I do, I really need it, you know?

It's not too bad. I'd prefer all the things on 1 screen like before instead of having to scroll down so much, but it's pretty nice.
I sort of liked the older one's setup but I don't want to be "that guy" resistant to change.

I think I'd like the cabin temp and the outside temp, maybe. It used to only give the outside temp, so there's a sensor! Now we only get the inside temp.
Maintenance says, "Tire Pressure Normal" which I find odd when there's no numbers unless you dig deeper. I guess this is "maintenance".
I thought my car's image was jail-cell bars, but it's actually a black curtain that sort of "moves in the breeze" a little, black-on-black. I'm jealous folks get a car image.
I wish my Pilot Panel had the correct color car instead of silver, but that's another matter.
I added the payment again and they took the obligatory one dollar:

I mean, if they need it, I don't mind donating! Someday, that Dream-P curtain will be lifted on the App!
Also, I noticed under "Vehicle Info" it says, Lucid Air and the "Edit" just says, "Edi" which I believe means Electronic Data Interchange. Also, on that page, I get a black ink spot with Air Dream Edition. Upon closer inspection, it's a shadow-car, black-on-black.

My climate surfaces are "steering wheel" only, but I was asked to send data logs.

If Lucid needs software beta testers, I'd be more than happy to volunteer for fun!
