New Ad Campaign

Hell yeah! These are the types of ads I want to see.. not the weird “aesthetic rich thing with random scenery” ads they’ve previously done!
I wonder if they got a new ad agency or account manager. That's so different than their past ads and SOOO good.

Yeah I love this new attitude, instead of being demographic driven, it’s aimed at everyone, basically confidently saying “we don’t need to tell you why you might want a Lucid. It’s the best car, so of course you want it”.

Hmmm. One mans different option. Don't want to quash the vibe but I doubt this ad moves the needle. Concept and slogan are great but the execution falls short. It's a choppy edit to a fault than can turn some folks off. I feel it's hard to tell what you are selling if you are not already a fan like I am. The car cuts chosen , while spirited, are too few and lack the elegance which is the core of our elevated driving experience. I just think a few seconds where you can really linger over our car would visually reinforce its claim of superiority. (Story I could not keep my mouth shut as I used to do car adds)

America needs more brands that are unapologetically American and throwing down the gauntlet. This branding is something everybody in the US can get behind.

That's what I'm talking about!!!
Heck yeah!

That needs to be on network tv, streaming services, and as a YouTube ad.
I'm tired of seeing Lyric commercials during YouTube videos. :)

I can see that.
Especially the short cuts to the car.
However, it is a vast improvement to what has existed thus far.

I get the tone of the Porsche Macan ev ads I've seen.
Similar to Genesis ads as well.

Just don't do something corny like that "Push The Button" Hummer ad!

Hopefully more to come.
Progress!!!

Funny, I used to do music/sound effects for ads in between film sound projects in my former career, and if you want to get into the minutiae of production value then yeah I do agree the editing itself is choppy and kind of all over the place, kind of jumpy, but the message is still conveyed and while I did notice that on first viewing, it felt like a deliberate stylistic choice to me, as there’s a lot of disparate things that all come together to make a car awesome, which they showed. But personally yeah I do prefer a more “wave” like format where there’s a calm before you get punched at the end with a visual tag or musical slogan or whatever. But hey you got Ali throwing punches everywhere, float like a butterfly sting like a bee haha

I don’t think there has ever been a clearer “statement of values” in an ad campaign since “think different.”

Yes, this has fewer shots of the car. Those will come.

But in terms of establishing the brand identity? This is it. Uncompromising, raising the bar, pushing the envelope so that everyone else has to catch up… that’s immensely clear.

Beautifully done, but where is it running? A great ad that few see isn’t a great ad in the end.
