They’re legacy. Some older sites still have them and newer ones don’t.
The Snake Road Supercharger location is just a little over a year old. It's also one of the few charging locations in an open lot that also has a roof covered in solar panels over it.
I'm surprised it would have these signs and that Tesla would leave them up at any NACS-partner station. Many Tesla owners will not be aware of the NACS partnerships, and those signs could be a source of friction of even confrontation. Some of the Superchargers, especially around Miami, often have queues of cars waiting to charge, and a Tesla owner seeing a non-Tesla plugged in at a post with a sign saying it's for Teslas only could become quite irritated. That could make for a dicey situation . . . especially around Miami.
