They’re legacy. Some older sites still have them and newer ones don’t.

The Snake Road Supercharger location is just a little over a year old. It's also one of the few charging locations in an open lot that also has a roof covered in solar panels over it.

I'm surprised it would have these signs and that Tesla would leave them up at any NACS-partner station. Many Tesla owners will not be aware of the NACS partnerships, and those signs could be a source of friction of even confrontation. Some of the Superchargers, especially around Miami, often have queues of cars waiting to charge, and a Tesla owner seeing a non-Tesla plugged in at a post with a sign saying it's for Teslas only could become quite irritated. That could make for a dicey situation . . . especially around Miami.

My guess is yes because every manufacturer is already swapping to the format. It's still so far a net positive, even if Tesla starts switching sites off.

Other charging networks are adding NACS handles too, so even if Tesla suddenly pulled a knee jerk backtrack (which wouldn't make sense because it's significant revenue), Ionna and others will make the switch worthwhile in the long run.

He said he tried two other charge posts and got the same result. There is a 24-station Tesla Supercharger plaza near his house, and he has used that a couple of times successfully, as has another friend also with a Volvo XC30. They finally made it to his cousin's house with 16 miles of range left. He's took his cousin's car home tonight as his wife was waiting dinner on him and will return tomorrow to try the nearby Target store which has both a NACS-partner Supercharger station as well as a bank of Florida Power & Light CCS chargers.

I had seen your earlier posts about the reliability you're seeing with Superchargers and was starting to feel optimistic about this. But his experience tonight and the experiences you just posted from others seem to reflect a hit-and-miss situation even with Tesla Superchargers similar to our CCS experiences.

For now, I'll just hope that Lucid is doing something right in utilizing the Tesla infrastructure that Volvo and other manufacturers haven't yet quite nailed.

According to Volvo, the EX30 is not compatible with North American Tesla superchargers at this time. Volvo's other models are compatible. I've charged our XC40 at several supercharger locations with zero issues.
