MyQ Opener

Check the batteries in the opener remote. Seems odd but that solved it for me.
Same remote for both doors, it has multiple buttons. In both cases, the car is picking up the signal when holding it near the L in LUCID logo. What wasn't working was the re-transmission to the receiver for the 2nd door (1st door works great). I'll try moving the car closer per DeaneG's suggestion, but if you can help me understand the battery suggestion, I'm all ears!

The battery can affect the recording of the signal. Doesn’t sound like that’s your issue.

I had the exact same situation. It was very frustrating. Then, I changed the battery in the remote and everything was fine. I couldn't believe it.

Worth a try!

Finally pulled the manual for the specific model of opener that we have to verify how 'learn mode' works. Evidently it's TWO clicks of the learn button on the wall panel, not one. How I got the first unit programmed is a miracle...but I performed the steps correctly with the second unit and it's working fine. So, now I have both homelink units functional with the AGT.

The other day we had a power failure. Very rare in my area. I tried to open the garage door with the button on the wall control and after making a small sound for a second or two it failed to work. After power was restored I checked the battery and it was seven years old. I bought a replacement and tested it and it works.

So...unless you want to physically pull and push your garage door in a power failure, check the opener battery as well. They are only rated to last a couple of years.

Guys a have been using a really elegant solution for both Chamberlin and LiftMaster Garage doors.

First, your garage door motor or your garage door button must support MyQ.
Mine didn't so I replaced the push buttons that opens my doors with: $70 each

LiftMaster MyQ Connected Internet Gateway and 889LM Control Panel

Then I purchased the Internet Gateway and attached it to my Apple Homekit $80
Any Apple device will do. (I used my Apple TV)

LiftMaster 828LM Internet Gateway

Now my three MyQ Garage Doors are Apple Homekit enabled in Apple Home which is available in Car Play!!

I can go the MyQ app and open close the doors or I can go to Apple Home and Open close the doors.

BUT best of ALL they are enabled through Siri and CarPlay.
I pull into my Neighborhood and say "Hey Siri open the Lucid Garage Door"

My CarPlay actually show a button on the CarPlay screen with the status of the door. "Open, Closed, Opening or Closing"
Also works from the phone when I am walking to the mailbox "Hey Siri Close the Lucid Garage"

I don't use Homelink or garage openers anymore. Everything is App or Voice enabled.

Mine’s been that way since the beginning.
