My Air touring has a cracked windshield and been in the shop for 11 weeks with no end in sight

They FINALLY have all the parts in place and have begun the repair which they say will take 3 weeks and then it will need to go to Houston for calibration. I am glad they Houston service center will check it all out and load any OTA’s that have taken place. I had it 2 months before the wind shield issue and its now going on 4months in the shop. I’ll have to reacquaint myself with the vehicle.

i will add that I knew the risks of buying from a whole new car company. I bought a Tesla Roaster and year and a half before it was delivered with 100% down……serial #38. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose.
This still doesn't make any sense why it would be so long. It has to be the 3rd party repair shop and not Lucid because they've never taken this long to repair anything so "minor"

Although I’m generally reluctant to jump to the conclusion that a poster is being untruthful — including in this case — I find the notion that any car would be in the shop for 11+ weeks for a windshield replacement extremely implausible.
As I understand it, since its glued on, its quite and intricate matter……SafeLight cannot handle it!! But again, its a parts issue, and there are more then one obviously. I agree with Bockius, its implausible….but here I am

Maybe ridiculous is a better description
