Off the highway, I often drive behind another vehicle so that I don't have to keep switching DreamDrive on/off at red lights.

Thank you! I have yet to implement home assistant. I have been checking for the update frequently, no update. Read your post, checked again, update available! 🎉

Automatic lane change can take a few seconds before deciding it needs to change lanes.
I'm not sure, but I think that if you initiate a lane change yourself, or just take over and change lanes with the steering wheel, it disables automatic lane change for some short period of time.

If my car has slowed down prior to the lane change, based on my following distance setting, after the lane change the car speeds back up to my set cruising speed and makes the pass, but it does not return to the original lane.

There was one time when I initiated a lane change, the car made the pass, and a faster car was approaching from behind.
I think I saw the message of another lane change being initiated, but I was trying to get out of the passing lane, so I made the lane change myself.

Perhaps the car only returns to the original lane if it is impeding the flow of traffic in the passing lane.
What are you all experiencing?

It does depend on traffic if automatic lane change will return to the original lane after passing. Where there are only two lanes, it changes to the right lane almost all of the time. with three or more lanes, it will depend on traffic. It does see traffic coming from behind and will move over. I find it to be very good.

Problem solved. HA reported that a download had started at 1:35PM. HA said the download paused after 1hr 10min. It paused for 7min and then reported complete. I went to Pilot Screen Settings>Software and found the update. It's updating now. Still don't know what those updates reported on the prior two nights were...

You have it right, in general. It’s possible they download it in multiple parts? Not sure

Sometimes those are just the car sharing data back to Lucid as it happens pretty often. Maybe map updates too? Not sure. I have an automation setup that I got from a post on these forums that sends me a notification when an update is downloading.
 
Quick update on my experience with 3.6.0. I drove from Telluride up to Grand Junction and then over to Ft. Morgan, CO today. First time driving my Gravity since 3.6.0 was installed. It is pretty much all two lane highway with some occasional turn lanes for the first half-ish of the route up to Grand Junction. I was expecting DDP not to calibrate until I got onto I-70. Somehow, just north of Montrose, it was calibrated and started working. I did not have hands-free until I got onto I-70. Once I got onto I-70, I pretty much used hands-free with the auto lane change all the way to Ft. Morgan. Overall, it did extremely well. It struggled with some of the high speed sharper turns on I-70 where I had to manually steer until we were through the corner (guessing I hit the max torque the system will apply). The auto lane change was pretty good. I found that if I left drive assist in the shortest trailing distance, it would get right up to the vehicle in front, slow down, and then initiate a lane change. However, if I put the it on the max trailing distance or one shorter than that, it would see the car and just switch lanes without slowing down. There were a couple times where the lane markings basically disappeared going around a corner and the system didn't know what to do. I can't say I blame it - how is it supposed to know where the lane is if there are no markings? It still misreads speed limit changes (I don't have it auto adjust my speed because of this issue) and it still struggles when there are simultaneous diverging turn lanes with no markings for the straight lane as the two turn lanes veer off. Again, not too surprising and our BMW iX struggles with this same situation.

I found one minor bug with 3.6: when listing to audio via CarPlay, a message comes in, the audio pauses, you play the message, and then it shows the audio playing again, but there is no sound. If you tap pause and then play again, the audio starts playing normally. I was able to reproduce it about 70% of the time, but not every time.

Other observations: The key fob works. I agree with a poster who said that the high regen setting seems a little less aggressive on throttle off. I prefer it being slightly less aggressive vs. how it was before this update as I think it makes it easier to switch between drive assist and manual driving. I also think it is a little bit smoother when you use regen to bring yourself to a stop. I was one of the fortunate people whose phone call quality issues were resolved with the 3.4.1 update. The people I talked to on the phone today said they did not notice a difference in audio quality, but YMMV.

Tomorrow I'll be driving 800-900 miles, primarily on I-80. I am looking forward to using hands-free pretty much the entire way. I'll give an update if there are any issues or bugs I encounter. So far, this seems to be a very solid update.

in limited engagement fob performance has been very good. No problems as of yet and I've used both of the fob's we have. Small sample size alert....

I'll try giving it more time to decide. I figured a manual lane change might disable it, but didn't consider how long before it reactivates. More testing to be done. Thanks for the info to consider.

Wonder if you noticed any change in efficiency. At a set speed it seems to not oscillate between regen and acceleration so much which has got to help the range. Can't wait to try on a long trip!

This isn't a route I have done with the prior software so I can't compare. I can say that I thought my efficiency was good today @ 3.30 mi/kWh considering the speeds and elevation changes and being parked on I-70 for about 20 minutes waiting for a blasting hold to be done.
 
Well they weren't kidding about maybe taking 3 hours. Two hours in and I'm at 26%.
 
Mine went offline just now at 48% after 1.5hrs.
 
As has been previously pointed out progress bars are notoriously inaccurate.
 
My slot came up in the regular queue this afternoon.
Uneventful installation in 2.5 hours or so,
Haven't driven it yet, but did do a hard reset and put in the password, which was needed for only 1 profile.
Fobs seemed to respond faster and from longer distance.
