Lucid Gravity UX 3.6 is here!

Lucid Service is telling me that they are unable to push the OTA 3.6.0 to my car and that I need to come in to have it installed. However, their first available appointment is on 7/29/26. This was as of last week. I purchased the Gravity at the end of June with a big reason being the sales rep telling me it had hands free driving. Extremely disappointing start to my ownership.

Sorry it hasn’t gone that way for you yet and hope that it improves bc it really can be really awesome!

Another attempt at getting the key fob working right. At least they're acknowledging there's still a problem for many. I feel like an idiot just standing at my door for 5-20 seconds pretending I'm looking for something when I'm really waiting for the door to unlock while the guy in line behind me at the car wash is watching for me to leave. Or my passenger is wondering why I'm not letting them in and I have to explain the whole failure to them.

Hoping this one finally does the trick.
No person left behind! I hope they get you and the remaining others up to our level bc it has been just extremely reliable and easy for months. Then PAAK to add on later to make it even better

Excuse me if you've already answered this: have you tried pushing in the driver's door handle while waiting? If my Gravity doesn't unlock before I get to the door, I push in the door handle, and off we go.

Yes. Doesn't do anything. The delay is apparently something to do with processing unlock authorization. Pushing the door handle does nothing until authorization finally kicks in. Only does anything after the car is unlocked.

I'm still getting the "Verify Your Identity in Vehicle" in the app. I cannot use the Live View because of this.
Instructions are to go to Settings -> Profile -> Verify your identity on the Pilot Panel, but that option doesn't exist on my Gravity GT.

What am I missing? I've signed out of the app and back in, but it persists. I only have a single profile set up.

How can I clear this message? It's been here since the 3.6 upgrade, which is otherwise working great. Thanks!

Thanks yeah I guess I’ll have to, but I have had really bad luck with the hold times and having to call multiple times for someone to actually do something, so I was hoping to take the marqie shortcut :-).
I did call and got it worked out, though it took a factory reset… All good now.

Go to setting then tap on your profile picture (top left menu); then you’ll get to the “verify your identity” screen where you have to type in your password again.

Try this

The missing "Verify your identity" menu option on your Lucid Gravity GT Pilot Panel occurs because your vehicle profile has lost its primary cloud connection status after the UX 3.6 update. The system logic hides this prompt if it believes you are using a non-owner or disconnected profile. [1, 2, 3]

How to Force the Identity Verification

You can clear the mobile app message and restore Live View by forcing a manual password sync inside the vehicle: [2, 3]

  • Change Your Password First: Change your Lucid account password via the smartphone app or website. This forces the vehicle's cloud profile to reject the old saved credentials and request a fresh login. [2, 3, 4]
  • Tap Your Profile Picture: Sit in the parked vehicle, open the Pilot Panel, and tap your active user profile avatar or picture icon directly. This often triggers the missing identity verification prompt automatically. [3]
  • Cycle Vehicle Profiles: If the option remains missing, switch your vehicle profile to a Guest profile and then switch back to your Owner profile. This forced re-authentication sequence will prompt the system to ask for your new Lucid password. [2, 5, 6]
  • The Wi-Fi Toggle Trick: Turn off the vehicle's Wi-Fi connection temporarily so it relies solely on cellular data. Navigate back to Settings > Profile, and enter your updated Lucid password when prompted. [2]
Once the Pilot Panel successfully processes your login credentials, the "Verify Your Identity" banner will vanish from your mobile app, and Live View functionality will immediately unlock.
If you run into issues with the system rejecting your correct password, let me know if you are getting any incorrect password errors or key fob low battery alerts so I can provide further steps. [7]

OK - thank you both for the responses. I'll give them both a try, in order, and hopefully will resolve the issue.
Much appreciated!

Quite a few people, I believe it’s a known bug introduced with 3.6
I have the same issue. I took it to the studio and was told to readjust the seat. Still not stable, so much so I have not been using it and just use adaptive cruise.

Things that have happened...

DDP comes on for a second and goes off again.
I get no face detected.
When enabled it intermittently tells me to pay attention or shake the wheel or TAKE CONTROL NOW
Sensors blocked.
Lidar blocked.
The worst thing it it brake checks me on the highway...??

I did have a catastrophic systems failure that had the CPU and one of the "network nodes" replaced prior to all this. I was waiting on my first service which is due in a couple of months but maybe now I will take it back in.

One issue I have is with car seat using buckle in the back seat, the rear air always turns on. I realize using the seat belt to determine backseat occupancy makes sense for most, but this is a small issue ..

Apparently some issue with lidar on my gravity (I don’t get any error messages on the car) won’t allow it to receive the update.
Turns out the LiDAR wasn’t faulty but there was some software glitch indicating so during the push to update. Hence I never got an error. On 3.6.3. About 20 minutes on 101 at night and hands free was active. It does a decent job acknowledging construction on the road and disabling hands free and then activating it again once past the cones.

I notice the adaptive beam turns off whenever you’re driving underneath street lights even at above 25 mph.

Anyone’s easy entry bugged? My seat will go back to my profile position, but my steering wheel doesn’t. I need to click restore every drive to bring it back to my profile setting.

EDIT: The fix is to switch profiles and switch back for anyone with the same issue.

Can someone advise how you turn on the Adaptive Driving Beam? Is it simply turning it on in settings and ensuring the lights are on auto? No need to push the stalk forward?

Thanks, all.

Once you have the setting on, that's it. When the car detects you are in a dark enough area to need high beams, it will automatically turn on then also automatically do the adaptive beam.

Unfortunately, given what I know about the Houston service center and my general luck, it's going to come while my car is in service and I'll have to sit back and watch everyone else get to play with the new software! 😥
