I swear adaptive headlights was not legal in 2023 when I got the polestar 2, which had matrix adaptive lights in Europe but not the US because of the laws. I just checked and it seems it's been legal in the US since 2022. Polestar never turned on the adaptive headlights which I assume could have been done with an OTA update. Glad the Gravity has this feature now.

Right, I believe it remains a gray area. I remember the European brands used to disable it for cars shipped to the US market.

It is my understanding that NHTSA made matrix adaptive headlights legal in 2022 but with a different standard than European standard. This caused manufacturers to have to modify their software and in some cases some hardware to meet the slightly different US standard. Thus the delay.

Only 1/3 of the Gravity's got their 3.6 update since it's release a week ago. I wonder how Lucid pushes the updates. Do they do it manually one by one? If so, that's ridiculos. If there were more Lucids sold, some of us would get our updates after another new update is out. 
Hope to get mine soon. Leaving my VIN here as well.

It is done in batches, to ensure nothing goes wrong and if it does they can catch it in-flight and pause the rollout.
There are usually multiple waves for a large update like this. Small, minor updates may go out all at once.
It isn’t done manually, with the exception of what @marqie is doing here.

I did my first drive today after the update.
During my drive on a two-lane highway in order to get to a three-lane highway for the DDP cameras and sensors calibration, the calibration was completed before getting to the three-lane highway. Drove the three-lane anyway in case there was the need for some additional tweaking.
I'm loving hands-free. No more visual and audio reminders about my hands.
I can now freely snap my fingers, play the keyboards, and more while DDP does its thing and I play with the band playing in the car.
Lane Change Assist seems somewhat less agressive.
I can only imagine how it operates with the assertive driving style setting.
I just hang on and keep my hands near the wheel just case I need to take over.
DDP-Drive Assist (DA) is fine. It's my nerves that have to adjust.
Now that I will be using DA more, the one mental exercise I know I will continually have to perform is remembering (this has been the case all along) if I switch from DA to Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC), I have to steer. There's been a few instances in which I experience a slight lane wandering and then remember "You're steering now, not the system".
As an older driver, I want to maintain my driving skills and in some ways I like how this mental switch from relying on the technology to relying on my skills is beneficial.
The old "use it or lose it" saying definitely rings true as you age.
One of the reasons I bought this car was to have access to technology that I knew could help me as I get older, but also challenge me to learn that technoloyg while also maintaining my driving skills.
To you older drivers out there: The trust relationship with technology may always be a work-in-progress.

In my DD/DA settings I have Lane Change Assist (LCA) and Automatic Lane Changes (ALC) enabled.
The automatic part doesn't seem to be working for me.
When I approach a slower car, a lane change is not initiated unless I hold the turn signal lever.
If my car has slowed down prior to the lane change, based on my following distance setting, after the lane change the car speeds back up to my set cruising speed and makes the pass, but it does not return to the original lane.
There was one time when I initiated a lane change, the car made the pass, and a faster car was approaching from behind.
I think I saw the message of another lane change being initiated, but I was trying to get out of the passing lane, so I made the lane change myself.
Perhaps the car only returns to the original lane if it is impeding the flow of traffic in the passing lane.
What are you all experiencing?

Just got the Home Assistant notification that the update is downloading. About to leave for an appointment though so holding off the install until later.

Halo Secure hasn't been a "released" feature prior to this update. I'm not sure if they're claiming that this update changes its status, or if it's still in testing.
I'm new to Lucid and Home Assistant. I still have much to learn about HA. I can see Download Status in Home Assistant but I'm not sure what it means. It says that Download was Complete at 3:02AM June 10 and again Download was Complete at 3:02 AM June 11. Is this just indicating that download status was checked at that time or that the update was downloaded? I assume I would receive a message or e-mail when the 3.6 update is ready to install so I was surprised to find this event reported in HA.
