Lucid Announces Promotion of Emad Dlala to Senior Vice President of Powertrain

I'm very happy to see this, as Emad is one heck of an impressive guy. I had the pleasure of meeting him at a recent Lucid event, and it was great seeing his level of passion and enthusiasm as he talked about his work. I was wondering why the Powertrain job was not already an SVP position, given its core criticality to the Lucid mission. And if Rawlinson is serious about technology licensing becoming the dominant part of their business model, powertrain engineering is going to be more important than car design and manufacturing. Lucid likely won't be licensing much manufacturing engineering or dashboard, seat, and UX design.

Certainly well deserved! I too had the opportunity to sit with Emad during the December event. Not only is he brilliant and dedicated but a very down to earth person.
