The US Treasury was supposed to have rules in place by the end of 2022 pertaining to battery materials sourcing for the new EV tax credit. It needs more time.

Yeah, this only applies to the battery sourcing rules. Good news in general, since other EVs may qualify for a bit without having to worry about the battery sourcing rules, but the other bits of the bill still apply, so Lucid doesn’t qualify as of 1/1 based on price alone.
