My experience with the built-in navigation system has been quite frustrating. So far it has routed me to the wrong location in 3 separate instances (residential addresses in Irvine, CA, Los Gatos, CA, and business address in Lake Forest, CA). I'm at the point where I'm mostly relying on Google Maps on my cell phone now. Android auto/apple carplay can't arrive soon enough!

But until then, what's the best way to provide feedback on navigation issues? I can't seem to find the option to report these problems.

I was once told by a Lucid Team Member to call Customer Care and have them log the problem. It then goes to the appropriate group within Lucid for analysis and potential action.

You can call Customer Care as @DJL mentioned, text it, or fill in the form in your account under "contact":

Google Maps would be the only reason I'd be interested in Android Auto in my Air. But I'd much rather have Google Maps native in the Air than mess with my phone and Android Auto.

I would love to be able to do my trip plan or Google maps and send it to the car as a minimum. I have been using Android Auto for a while and mainly to be able to access my youtube Premium music with no ads while driving and better integration with the phone.

We use native Google Maps in our other EV, which like the Air uses AAOS but instead chose to license GAS for Google Maps/nav and Assistant. No "send to car" app functionality is needed, as anything you search for on the phone or desktop appears in the car's navigation search history list within a few seconds. Multistop trip plans made on phone or PC don't currently persist to the car, but they're easy to reconstruct by tapping on the last several items in the car's search history window.

I hope Lucid also switches to GAS for Google maps. It is nice to have the search history from phone or desktop to appear on the car nav.

CarPlay / Android Auto will solve this, so long as you use that for nav, rather than the built-in nav.

Yes. Hopefully in Q1.

A possible explanation for why Lucid used HERE maps and navigation instead of Google maps. Notably one of the factors used by the study was the size of the installed base, which should grow rapidly for Google in the coming few years. https://www.autoevolution.com/news/...-worlds-number-one-navigation-app-207731.html
Interesting read but the ability to select an optimized routes was not included in the analysis. In AZ, the Lucid route selection is very poor. It is rarely able to find the fastest route here.

You can do this now with Google Maps in iOS Not sure if it works on android.

You can send a destination to the car from Google maps on Android or iOS, but not a multistop trip. Multistop trips do carry over into Android Auto, but not yet on cars using AAOS/GAS. There your search history from phone or desktop appears in the car's Google Maps search history, but it's up to you to re-create a trip plan by tapping on prior searches in the history.

Just found this - you can submit an update to correct HERE maps at:

Or on HERE's phone apps.
